Search for 17-month-old son of slain Oakland woman winds down at Aquatic Park

The missing toddler of an Oakland woman found dead at Aquatic Park had not been in the care of his mother for nearly two weeks, relatives of the slain woman said Saturday.

Six years in prison for the murder of a three year old. There are no words. My hope is the DA and Judge that allowed this travesty look deep inside at how they make a living. They have blood on their hands.

Couldn't agree more with 'ex vallejoan'...I couldn't believe my ears when I heard this guy murdered a three year old. What on the face of earth is this guy free for? People go to jail for first time personal marijuana-use for longer.
It is atrocious.
I cannot look at anyone the same thinking that obviously this isn't the only murderer on the streets...

As a society we are way off base. I can't believe there is not more outrage!Accountablity is the key word all around. If we fail to protect our children then we fail, period. I am just heartsick.
