we're sorry to hear of this tradgedy. Patrick was much loved by many and liked by all. one drunken ex-con and felon who shouldn't have even had a gun does this.

He's right. The guy shouldn't have even had a gun.... and why did he Samantha???? You have a little history with Patrick yourself. You get your stories straight. There is NO justification for murder.... especially when you invite someone to your house. They shouldn't stop until they get the death penalty. I think the family should sue the gun owner for millions on top of it! However, they said that they are not like that... all they want is their brother and son back! No amount of money can bring him back.

I think you need to know the story as well before you go blabbing your mouth about something you have no idea about. By the way, since you think you know it all JANE, why did he have a gun? Get real. Jane is right... shooting someone- a vibrant, young, brilliant 26 year old is never the answer. I think you are full of lies. I also know that if Patrick wasn't invited, your uncle should have called 911, not pulled out a weapon. According to the LAW, which your uncle took into his own hands, convicted felons are not supposed to have weapons. Your UNCLE is a convicted FELON I don't think you are as good of a friend to Maurene as you say you are or you wouldn't be justifying the killing of her brother. Rumors around the state suggest that the gun came from your father.

Sad story all the way around, but don't try to make something that is WRONG- killing someone, right!!!

Samantha, don't let anybody get to you- this is a tragedy all the way around- do what you can to make sure that this never ever happens again! It is the families that suffer more than anyone.
