that was yesterday... what have the unions done lately except donate $$$ to obummer
Unions are constantly fighting for workers rights and keeping jobs from being shipped overseas and out of the U.S. Recently, they fought to keep the new Air Force tanker from being built by foreign companies. Unions are still protecting American workers from the corporations who try to take advantage of workers so they can pocket obscene pay and bonuses. Yes, some unions have had bad apples at one point or another, but do you think corporations are going to improve the pay and working conditions of workers out of the kindness of their hearts? That ain't gonna happen.

I support any Walmart that fires any of these worthless employees that walked out or did not come to work.
It is time for all non union work places and workers to stand up and unite in solidarity and defeat union once and for all.
How many employees lost their jobs union or non union, Look at Hostess, Bakers Union actions made the Ding Dong and Twinke homeless and extinct.
Has any one noticed that Walmart forces people to apply to work there.
Frredom is without a union robbing your paycheck.
What is your thought on Walmart's reliance on the social welfare system to subsidize their workforce? Or is it only those dirty ethnics getting a free ride on the backs of taxpayers you oppose?

Funny, When you go on line and fill out an application for employment at Walmart, there is no welfare questions.

Under your opinion, there must not be any college degreed new hires unless they are management, similiar to college students working on their degrees bussing tables or being night clerks at motels, Walmart does not decide who will apply to them, Keep spinning all you want. No one forced to work at Walmart, and if no Walmart were built, Where would these poor misguided non union social welfare receiptanats be working?

Oh pah-lease!!! The wages & health benefits offered by walmart are well above the cut-off to receive welfare. They offer higher wages & better working conditions than many, if not most, of the jobs available for non-skilled labor.

Strong-arming tactics only work if you have the upper hand (stronger arm). Too many people are suffering from the fact that it's an employers market right now. It sucks, it's not fair, it just is. Walmart is not the only company who's policies are changing & becoming crappier for the employee's, it's just one of the biggest targets. Especially for unions. They have been trying to bust up walmart for YEARS!
Thank obamacare for the rising health insurance costs. Plus, the class warfare tactics he has promoted since being in office have hurt every aspect of trying to work for a living.
Unions are NOT the answer, they are bankrupting this country right alongside with obama's incessant need to overspend. His administration has already begun to target the monies coming in by raising taxes on the so-called rich for more reckless spending. That revenue was intended to help cover his trillions in over-spending from his first term, but it's now being redirected for more spending ... to hell with the debt we're already in!
People need to think for themselves & quit acting like mindless zombies. Our future is in our own hands unless we get too lazy to think for ourselves & hand our individual power to someone else. FYI: obama is NOT a messiah, nor can he walk on water ...

$12/hr at Walmart? How many years of walmart employment dies that take here, 4, or 5?
Isn't 2000 man hours (essentially a year employment) befor you will work fll time?
A union can sometimes be like a lawyer, or car insurance. You hate them until you need them.
Many years ago, I knew of a person who lost his job over an 8oz carton of white milk. That's right, that person lost a $40K a year job because he had stolen a carton of milk that probably cost his company less than a dime, had just started, was under a 60 day probationary period, and thus had no union protection to stand in his corner, and defend him.
I well understand that no company-employer should tolerate any infractions such as fighting, or stealing, but it is possible that the Union "Might" have been able to save him his job, with perhaps 2-3 months off without pay as penance.
That still would've been a $6-8K penalty paid.
What an idiot. Got a good paying job and steals. Thank goodness for probation periods and unions.

I seriously try to stay away from Walmart as much as I can, but there is just times that I can't. I sure as hell don't buy their crappy ass meat unless it's on sale. Also, now I buy my bullets on line or out of town. And seriously, if Samon's would treat me and other customers with respect, I would shop there more then at Lowes or Home Depot.
And you're hiding too!
