I seen last week, what looked like a Carpeting Company there.

Probably putting the finishing touches on the place.

As some others mentioned in this regard, I honestly can't see Lucky, and Suzy, the Wok Inn money hungry folks sinking all that money to rehab that place, which was a shithole. They were too miserably cheap, and no doubt have sought greener pastures somewhere else (Good riddins!)

That this is probably an entirely different entity coming here to set up shop.

Great I say, maybe us folks will finally get something worthy of being called a "restaurant" here?! That it might finally be a first, in Alamogordo's history.

Maybe.

Of couse the majority of shitholes you have here can't be blamed on Heisenberg. I didn't make these places the way they are.

What is wrong with you two? Greasy Spoon restaurants have feed us boys when we are away from home for centuries.
Now on the other hand, if you weren't such grumpy old goats, maybe you would have a decent woman in your life that would cook you a decent meal now and then so you didn't need to go restaurant hunting so often.
Just my opinion.

A new Thai place on 1st St?

Not a lover of Thai, some I eat, some I don't. New people, or is it the people from 10th St and Texas Ave relocating?

I particularly like the way the Thai's do Iced Coffee.

Have you tried the place on White Sands that use to be the bus station? Just wondering what you thought about their food.

Nope, sorry, haven't really found time as of late to do much dining out.

Isn't that the place that's called a Tea House of some sort?

2012 certainly has been a pretty brisk year for Alamogordo, with many new eateries. And that's great IMO. More variety, and diversty is what this town dearly needs.

Hoping that 2013 continues this trend.

They only serve teas & coffees...only food is a plate of egg rolls for the side. Place is very clean but I wanted a meal - not available here.

The Empire Buffet also has a location in Las Cruces and it's worth the drive. Excellent well priced buffet with great real sushi. So glad it's now just down the road!!!!!
