I have not lived here for long and am hoping to get some idea of a place to sell some of my late mother's jewelry. I don't wear it and could use the money. I have noticed there are a lot of places advertising up and down White Sand Blvd. Before i go into one I wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations? I did notice one saying they pay more than anyone (not sure if i can post their name) but i guess I wonder if that is true and how i can find out. Any suggestions?

Take an hour or two, bring a pad, pencil and phone book and hit them all. Go back to the one that offers the most. bada bing - bada boom

Wow. I was trying to get some community feedback on local businesses - not an ethics class on family values. You don't even know me! And just for the record, I am keeping a lot but have hospital bills for my father to pay for so I am considering selling some because I have to. What a great first impression of Alamogordo you have given me! And thank you to the one that replied in topic. I truly don't have time to go to every place around here - but had hoped that someone would provide even a little suggestion of a fair business to visit.
So what

Seems to me you are just trying to attack me for no reason. So I flagged your post and won't reply again. I just was looking for information on a local business.
I was reading some of your post. It appears you contradicted yourself. You implied that you were liquidating old jewelry then change your story that you were attempting to raise funds for your diddy. Now your finally response that you're was just looking for info on local businesses. Which is it?.

You put a question out in cyber space and got a reply from chartreuse. You didn't like her response so you flag the post. Appears you have very thin skin and no life. May I suggest from your moniker that you might consider moving on.

MoveOn-hopefully you found a business to deal with but if you didn't I have a suggestion from my own experience - NM Gold Exchange. The lady I dealt with was nice and they paid a fair price. It was very private and educational. I do encourage you to follow the other post about getting several offers but my only experience was with them. They are behind Tia Lupe's on White Sands. Good luck and happy holidays.

Describing your house again? Please Carol, that is nothing for you to have pride in.

Hurry and post again, little puppet. You can't resist as I pull your strings! I am the master of your pathetic little existance.

Hey why don't you put up your deceased mothers jewelry for your children and gbabies. I would take a second job before selling anything of my mothers. Again it is the signs of the times money has been and always will be the root of all evil. Theirs ole saying, the fruit doesn't fall far from its tree.

I would go to no other place than the blue stone. after having someone steal many of my jewelry pieces I went to Mr Davis and he had three months worth of jewelry for me to look at to see if it was mine. the other places ship it off so fast there is no chance of recovery and that was where my thief took some of my things.and she didn't get near what they were worth. sorry you got the nasty comments.
