IMO this new burger establishment will close....

Serving what looks like a pre packaged 1/4 pound burger patty(s), and pre processed fries does not make a burger joint.

HI-D-HO, Rustic Cafe, Denny's all serve hand made burgers, and even Chile's and Applebee's have burgers that i would consider before going back to this establishment.

Price is high for what you are getting.

I would change the burger and fries asap to fresh hand made and make you own fries.

These are my opinions and observations.

Nor surprised...why would they make anything fresh..owners are too lazy...they just want to make a fast buck.

Sorry, guess I wrote too soon....seems that other thread has disappeared. Wonder why? It was harmless talk about a burger joint.

I really want this new place to work out, i had such high hopes for it, i was looking forward to a nice juicy hand made burger patty..

I do enjoy the menu selection and the way you order...Service was fast, food was hot, the fries were plentiful.

Just had a different expecitation for a new burger place in town...

Watched numerous burger shows on the food newtworks type shows, and watching them made those bigger patties and big bun's, with fresh cut fries makes you wanting one too....

Hmm, you're telling us it's basically the same thing one can get at Micky-D's, but for even more money?

Hi-d-hole in the wall still reigns king then, huh?

I'm not surprised, that so many here have these "carpetbagger" dreams of grandeur, and riches, with only one interest in mind,$$$$$.

If they have to buy the fresh meat, cut spuds, hire more people to do this, by the time they get through with you, you could've had a Steak.

El Parador was such a place, highway robbery prices for nothing more than Chicken, Pork, Ground Beef.

Thanks for the heads up, I think I'll pass, continue buying the ultra ground beef at lowes, and make my own.

Um yeah

I just tried out their burgers. It reminded me of those burgers at Allsups under the heat lamp. I ordered the 1/4 pound patty, with green chile, and cheese, and mayo. The patty had no seasoning, and was dry, the lettuce wasn't fresh, they only put a drop of mayo, and the green chile came from a can. The fries tasted like the Shurfine brand, and a 16 oz. soda. All for $8.35.

$8.35 huh?
Again, not at all surprised. Wouldn't surprise me, if the fools raise the price to an even $9 soon.

Maybe, if something like this was truly outstanding, but you folks know good ole alamogordo, where basically, everybody is trying to pawn their slop food off on you, and expect you to shut up, love it, and pay for it.

Also won't surprise me if the goon alamo newspaper lists this place as the new "best burger in town". LOL

Why does it have to be "hand-made"? You want some dity teenager's shit-stained hands all over your burger?
And I hope they cleaned that joint thoroughly. I can image the urine, feces and drool everywhere, since it used to be a daycare
You are just a total jerk...At least these "dirty (not dity) teenagers are working for a living and not stealing from people..They are trying to make a honest living. No wonder no one likes you on these forums.

You can get any Applebees burger from 9PM until closing for $5, and that comes with fries. Those are monsters and certainly not those little 1/4 pound frozen patties like so many places like to use.

Cannot blame you, or anyone else for that. That's pretty much the purpose of a restaurant, that at times one cannot always cook at home, or for those folks on the road, passing through, want to get a good bite to eat.

And not have to stop at every gas station's restroom, or wayside across the state after eating here! LOL

Believe it or not, it seems Wendy's here in town has been doing a bit better job. Their restaurant is a neat as a pin, you could literally eat off the floors, the food's quality seems to have improved, and their prices are a bit better than Micky'D's.

Free refills on soda, their skin on french fries are fairly decent, the condiments on the burgers are abundant, high quality, and fresh. And their staff look quite professional, very polite, accomodating, neatly dressed, and don't appear to be refugees from OCDC.

Not sure about Burger King anymore, seems the last couple times I've been there in the past, the place was filthy, the food very sub par, and seems they like "hitting" everything they serve with a microwave oven. That doesn't instill much confindence to me that what they are serving is fresh.

Burger King appears to be nothing like it was in the far past.

Remember Burger King and Budweiser Beer are not American Companies, so why maintain a high standard.
