City commissions has passed a praise hike for DPS. They will receive a 5 percent increase across the board and 3 1/2 percent cola (cost of living) raise January 1. Congratulations to the men and women in law enforcement.

It would be well deserved if they would actually solve or prevent crime Halloween night a group of teenagers was followed, harassed, and jumped by some drunk adults at Kids Kingdom.
The police didn't even arrest the one moron that was identified by the teens!

Your words above about the Police not doing their job! If they didn't make an arrest there was a good reason!

I agree that the Alamo DPS are lazy but i can also agree that they prolly do there best to solve and stop crime here. When you are the victim or know a victim, iam sure its hard to say dps does their job. But, it seems they are there trying to make things right. so yeah, give them a raise.

Like I said, DPS caught one of the suspects the night of the attack but they cut him loose without charging him.
