I think it is sorry for our kids to be made to learn spanish. Should be their choice.Even worse when they put a hispanic in there to teach them and half the class is hispanic!!

You realize that just because someone is of Hispanic descent doesn't mean they speak Spanish, right?

They also teach English to the Spanish-speaking students.

Out of all the things you could choose to complain about and you choose a class? Do you think the administration has control over what classes are taught? They're not running shit the state is. Teaching or learning a new language will do nothing but make your child a more capable, well-rounded citizen of society.

There are some things to complain about out there. Mainly Ms. Hoover, known as ms. Hottie or Ms. Hooter. It has been said that the more she wants something the more buttons she leaves open on her shirts. Now wouldn't you say that is something real good for our students and our wonderful school system?

I love Spanish class. The kids that complain about it are usually the ones who complain about every other class. They're lazy and don't care about school. I don't see anything wrong with learning Spanish. And there was a Mexican guy in my class, and he didn't know Spanish.

I understand why you don't like mandatory Spanish, but I think if you think about it, you'll realize it's a good idea. Knowing Spanish will be useful in all kinds of situations, from keeping them from getting screwed on a landscape or construction job, keeping them from getting robbed or jumped by some thugs who are scheming in Spanish, make new friends from a different culture, and know what a good segment of our population is talking about. It's a fact that there are a lot of Mexicans here, and we can't be ignorant to that fact.

Learning to speak Spanish has helped me a lot in work.
