This is Vallejo. What did you expect? Anything and everything has gone wrong. We should have just floated Gomes down the river and whoever could fish her in would win the prize. Geeez, do ya think anyone would have won?

It seems as though the only difference between the duckies and the management of the city is that the duckies could be bought for only $5.00. Which way did they go ozzie, which way did they go ???

We were in Am Can too. What a great show they put. This was way better than any fireworks display Vallejo has put on. The colors and different fireworks this year. We also shopped at Walmart and dumped about $250.00 bucks. I am glad we are supporting such a wonderful city like American Canyon. In the future we are going to donate money to any of their causes or programs that need money. The city leaders in Am can have great heads on their shoulders. They support their public safety and business.

If Vallejo ever wants to emerge from the hole the democrat leaders over the decades have dug it, they would do well to emulate sucessful cities around them, like AmCan, and run it like they would their OWN home, unless that is what they are doing; they are, after all, democrats with no sense of fiscal responsibility. Try electing fiscal conservatives, if any exist, instead of the typical mongrels from places like Chicago; people who HAVE run actual businesses, and not slease lawyers like Obama.

The best part of the AmCan fireworks had to be the half dozen or so which went off AFTER the finale, much to the suprise and delight of all who were then making their way home.

Nay, matey. You would need a harpoon and a whaling boat to catch that white whale. Arrgghhh...

Aye Captain Ahab, We followed the white whale in the Pequod the best we could. That until we were suddenly rammed by the other Captain.
Sadly, this unappealing encounter allowed the great white whale to get away.
Last we seen of the white whale she be swimmin off with Humphery out to sea; we reckon they be headin back to San Francisco.
