He wanted to start a civil war?

Was he a left-wing terrorist nut or a Muslim nutjob?

The articles say he thought he was talking with a Taliban guy.

Which is it?

What does this have to do with the incident in the Bay Area?

I thought the Dorner guy was in southern California?

Anyway I dunno what he hopes to prove, assuming he hasn't already committed suicide I fear he'll be facing death soon. He'd be smart to get away from LA & turn himself in butt-ass naked into his local police station. That way they can't claim he had a knife to justify shooting him.

The Bank of America Building, also called Oakland Bank Building and Oakland Bank of Savings, is a 69 m (226 ft) high-rise located in downtown Oakland, California. The building was originally constructed with nine floors, and the 18-story tower was annexed later. It was built as a headquarters for the Oakland Bank, which was acquired by Bank of America in 1929[4].
