Who is the biggest prostitute. They, the city, wants to close down Lisa Cabaret because of problems in the community.

However Plusquellic and Summerville wants police to work inside the Bungalow bar where all the gangbangers shoot each other up. They have numerous trouble calls at this bar.

I guess if you pay off the Mayor and city council you get police for your buisness. If you don't pay off the Mayor and council you get the police against your buisness.

Mayor Plusquellic and Summerville gets rich one more time don't they.

Please someone investigate these political rats

What about the strip club 'strip' along Tallmadge/Brittain road?? I've seen 'ladies' outside there waving down cars and they aren't looking for a 'ride' to a store...they're lookin' for a different kind of ride....

The problem with this is if you close down the Bungalow 5, then everyone will think it is racism because this is a black night club. You'd have Sharpton and Jackson marching into town immediately!

Lisa's sounds like a fun place to visit. Bring the family! The Bungalow sounds like a romantic spot too! Akron nightlife!

Not just the Bungalow there are fights in all clubs. If you gonna close down Lisa's then close them all. Half of the girls in all of them are prostitutes. Then we also have the Adult Cinema where married, gay and straight men have sex in the open theater and a Gay bathhouse(sex club) right across the street can only imagine what happens in there. Oh yeah then you have all the adult bookstores where gay, married and straight men go have sex with their wives and kids are at home. Why is one any different from the other. close them all if that the case

This has been going on for years and years, somebody was getting paid off, I guess Lisa's ran out of money to grease the skids?

Hmm... closing ALL of the problematic bars in Akron is a good idea, but how about if we take it one at a time. Do you know how much money it costs the city to do investigations and file suits against these bars. We can't afford to do it all at one time. So let's be intelligent and be happy that at least one place is closing down and one block will be a little safer. Things can only be done one step at a time, unless of course all you who aren't satisfied would like to donate your money to the cause?!?! Didn't think so!

So try to be happy about what IS being done thus far!

Gee whiz, prostitutes in a strip club. I'd have never guessed that sort of thing goes on in such places.

And it only took five separate investigations for them to figure this out.

Another home run for local law enforcement.

I guess this is why the Mayor likes to drink in Akron. Look at all the choices he has to drink at. The lush he is I'm sure he drinks at all of them

Wow. Stevie Wonder could have seen this one coming. For years, anyone with a pulse and the ability to fog a mirror in Akron knew this place was trouble. Goodyear announces plans for a new HQ in the neighborhood, and the busts begin. Look for the adult cinema and the gay bathhouse to be busted in lifestyle raids in the coming months.

"So let's be intelligent and be happy that at least one place is closing down and one block will be a little safer."

I don't think this strip club was a safety hazard other than an occasional tussle outside which is common at places that stay open late. It sounds like some woman was p1ssed that her ole man was knock'in boots with a dancer for $150. Akron should let businesses run their business the way they want to and be happy to collect the taxes.

Jaime, your post makes you seem like the kind of person who voted for the smoking ban. You don't peek in windows to see if people are smoking with your finger on redial do you?

Does a bar get shut down after one liquor law violation?

They had to establish that there was a pattern of illegal activity at this location. If they walked into court trying to close the place for one violation, they'd be laughed at.

Police did an awesome job on this one!

How about just using the money we pay in taxes? And I mean all the money, not whats left when we buy Marco his new Smith and Wesson and the others the back alley tax maney thats been greasing their pockets. Just like the schools, they are always crying about money, just use the money they get the right wy and we don't have these problems.

last time i checked, poontang doesn't kill, gun fights kill. sure, i'd be willing to bet the house that there are a few bugs running around lisa's that may make you WISH you were dead...but still.
