The conceit of the left is staggering; their foolishness immense.

They believe that, as contemporary thinkers, they have a monopoly on the truth, simply because they are alive today, and not in an earlier,“less enlightened”, era. C.S. Lewis, the magnificent Christian, novelist and academic, termed it:“chronological bigotry”.

And he is spot on. As conservatives, we reject chronological bigotry. As should all people. Any objective person would draw on the accumulated wisdom of the past to form a comprehensive and coherent view of the world, from which we derive certain principles essential to the promotion of the common good.

To junk virtues, values, and definitions haughtily, with the justification that we “know better now” or “we are smarter than they were” is not simply the height of imperiousness but severely dangerous. It’s why the left think they have the right to re-define our enduring institutions such as marriage. They know better, of course. What did any of those before us know? We’ve moved on. It’s the twenty-first century, you guys. Get with the playbook. It’s time to undermine society completely.

We’re enlightened, they say. Enlightened, my right foot.

Here is where America strikes the most incredible balance of progression and conservation.

Coloring between the lines has never been the American way. It is the most innovative, creative, transformational country the world has ever seen. This progression is why it has lead in all three of the basic waves of human innovation- agricultural, industrial and information. But, until recently, and even now to more of an extent than any other, it has had the good sense particularly in the South and Midwest of the nation to exercise fidelity to social constants: to values and virtues held for time immemorial. Indeed, when one visits these nations, it is difficult to imagine much has changed in fifty years. Technology and the way business is conducted may have changed, but the feel hasn’t. You travel to real America from any other urbanized city of a Western country and you contract hope once more for civilization: people are still friendly, patriotic, happy, polite, and having children. Yes, that’s right: kids and families everywhere. The rest of the West has stopped having children, except for its immigrant Islamic communities. America proves a society can be the most progressive and conservative simultaneously: that’s why it’s exceptional. Progressive and forward thinking in the areas it needs to be; conservative in those areas it needs to be. That’s how a society is best run.

Chronological discrimination is behind the “dinosaur” and “museum-piece” slurs hurled by the left. It’s why they choose to use ‘black and white’ video as an editing technique when formulating their attack ads on YouTube and television. But nostalgia and commitment to timeless and traditional morals, views and virtues bequeathed to you by your parents and grandparents is not only understandable; it is respectful and progressive in itself. Progress includes keeping core elements the same so that other elements can be changed. That’s what the left don’t understand. It’s not fundamental change for everything. Progression in the areas where progression is needed can only happen if certain elements stay the same: those conservative elements enable and are conducive to progression in other areas. Just look at the American example.

People are too easily lured by the guilt associated to conservation, thinking “Oh well, times have to change, I suppose. Can’t always stay the same. Different people here now. Different circumstances, another era.” That might be true about how you do your banking, or your method of communication, or your business but not your way of life- not when it comes to things like your family, faith, flag and neighborhood.

It doesn’t lack confidence or show insecurity to refuse to change some things. It doesn’t mean we are afraid, or unwilling to take charge. The opposite: it is the zenith of confidence and leadership to protect enduring traditions when they are constantly under attack, and the loud minority bully. There is great boldness in this course.

The way these people behave shows they have no respect for their mothers and fathers, their uncles and aunts, their grandmothers and grandfathers, or any of their family. The way these people behave shows they are deeply ashamed of their nations and the culture that has existed until now. The way these people behave shows they have no time for the great thinkers or philosophers of the past. Leftists, as chronological bigots, really are utterly unpatriotic, anti-family, atheistic and weaken Western civilization through their mission to destroy our society as we know it.

To paraphrase the famous line that heads some up of the left’s favorite and most prominent causes across the spectrum: Say no to Chronological Bigotry.

Candidate Caught Stripping For Playboy
OCTOBER 19, 2012 BY NEWSEDITOR 15 COMMENTS

inShare
2

Running for office as a devoted wife and mother of two sons besides Sunday school teacher, Amy Biviano’s campaign has been rocked by the revelation of her appearance in Playboy.
The dictionary definition of hypocritical is the “pretense of having virtues, beliefs, principles, etc.” Many politicians are well described by this adjective; but in 2012, none deserves it more than Amy Biviano.

Biviano has worked hard to transform her image from a Yale educated anthropologist and self-avowed feminist into a suburban mom with an adoring husband.
This is how she describes herself on her own website:
“I am a long-time Spokane Valley resident, a mother, and small business owner… I grew up in a small, close-knit town in Oklahoma, the daughter of a farmer and a public school teacher. I met my husband Andrew in 1993, on our first day of freshman year at Yale University, and we married two months after graduation. We moved to Andrew’s hometown of Spokane Valley in 2001, deciding that it is the ideal place to raise our family. We have now been married almost 15 years and have two incredible sons: Alex, age 13, and Aidan, age 11…I am an active member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, where I teach Sunday school and serve on the finance committee.”

What she doesn’t share in her bio is her work as a model for Playboy. She appeared in the October 1995 issue of the Men’s soft porno magazine as part of a special spread on “The Women of the Ivy League.”

Amy Biviano until now has been a darling of the Democratic Party in Washington State. After serving as the Chairman of the Democrats in Spokane County, she is now locked in a race to unseat conservative favorite Representative Matt Shea in the 4th Legislative District which stretches across the Spokane Valley.
Usually a conservative stronghold, this year, liberals on the state redistricting committee have redrawn the 4th district lines to make it competitive for Amy Biviano.
Ironically, a central theme of her campaign has been repeated demands that Representative Shea tell all about his past. She is referring to Shea’s divorce from first wife Lisa. This is well-trod turf with Democrats and the local liberal media bringing up his divorce in every one of his earlier campaigns. They claim that the breakdown of his first marriage is fair game because Representative Shea is the Legislature’s biggest opponent of gay marriage.
It is appropriate since she is demanding answers from Shea’s past that she fully disclose her own. She tells Playboy in the interview that accompanies the photo spread that she is a feminist, saying,“I wanted to pose for Playboy to show that we’re not asexual man-haters.” She also told Playboy that her future plans as an Anthropologist included a desire to study sex in other cultures around the globe.
None of her high profile work as a Playboy model is in her currently-posted biography. Her attempts to hide this episode in her life from voters’ view until now have come to an end. slut, hypocrite, WITH FAKE BOOBS.

After a lifetime of voting for and supporting Democrats — and even declining appointment to the U.S. Senate from a Democratic governor — Lee Iacocca Thursday endorsed Republican Mitt Romney for president.

The blessings of the onetime Chrysler chairman are expected to help Romney in two highly competitive states: Pennsylvania, where the 88-year-old Iacocca was born and raised and is still widely respected, and in Michigan, where Iacocca rose to become a major figure in the auto industry and won international praise for cobbling together the government-backed loans that saved Chrysler in 1980.

Iacocca, who now lives in California, issued a statement saying he backed Romney because of his “dozens of years of experiences in the public and private sectors” and because the GOP nominee has a plan that “will enable a stronger America.”

Benghazi: Obama and His Ilk Hung Chris Stevens and Others Out to Dry

This past Friday the State Department released internal docs showing that Chris Stevens, U.S. Ambassador to hell’s corridor in Libya, begged Obama’s boys in D.C. to ramp up security in Benghazi. And, as we all know now, he got nothing from the State Department but was allowed to be tortured and murdered by “democracy seekers” from the “Religion of Peace” in the “liberated” nation of Libya.

As far as I am concerned, blood is dripping from Obama’s golf-gloved campaign hands. Whatever do I mean, you ask? Well, according to James Rosen’s findings in the newly released damning papers, it’s crap like …

On September 11—the day Stevens and three other Americans were killed—the ambassador signed a three-page cable, labeled “sensitive,” in which he noted “growing problems with security” in Benghazi and “growing frustration” on the part of local residents with Libyan police and security forces. These forces the ambassador characterized as “too weak to keep the country secure.”
Roughly a month earlier, Stevens had signed a two-page cable, also labeled “sensitive,” that he entitled “The Guns of August: Security in Eastern Libya.” Writing on August 8, the ambassador noted that in just a few months’ time,“Benghazi has moved from trepidation to euphoria and back as a series of violent incidents has dominated the political landscape … The individual incidents have been organized,” he added, a function of “the security vacuum that a diverse group of independent actors are exploiting for their own purposes.”“Islamist extremists are able to attack the Red Cross with relative impunity,” Stevens cabled.“What we have seen are not random crimes of opportunity, but rather targeted and discriminate attacks.” His final comment on the two-page document was:“Attackers are unlikely to be deterred until authorities are at least as capable.”
By September 4, Stevens’s aides were reporting back to Washington on the “strong revolutionary and Islamist sentiment” in the city.Scarcely more than two months had passed since Stevens had notified the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice and other agencies about a “recent increase in violent incidents,” including “attacks against western [sic] interests.”“Until the GOL [Government of Libya] is able to effectively deal with these key issues,” Stevens wrote on June 25,“the violence is likely to continue and worsen.”
After the U.S. consulate in Benghazi had been damaged by an improvised explosive device, earlier that month, Stevens had reported to his superiors that an Islamist group had claimed credit for the attack, and in so doing had “described the attack as ‘targeting the Christians supervising the management of the consulate.’”“Islamic extremism appears to be on the rise in eastern Libya,” the ambassador wrote, adding “the Al-Qaeda flag has been spotted several times flying over government buildings and training facilities …”
In the days leading up to 9/11, warnings came even from people outside the State Department. A Libyan women’s rights activist, Wafa Bugaighis, confided to the Americans in Benghazi in mid-August:“For the first time since the revolution, I am scared.”
From the 166 hellish pages we see a stack of warnings, via multiple cables sent to D.C. from Chris’s own laptop about which diddly was done—and that being after prior bombings of the Red Cross and our own compound and an assassination attempt on the British ambassador. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. This is gross and inexcusable.

If what happened in Benghazi on 9/11 was not an act of terror, or an act of war, I don’t know what is. What’s the “Religion of Peace” got to do to wake this administration the heck up? Destroy one of Obama’s favorite golf courses?

Oh, BTW: Missing from the extensive documents is any mention of a YouTube video ticking these “peaceful protestors” off.
