Free throw discrepancy is another misleading stat. Just because the Cavs had less fouls called on them and they shot way more free throws than the Celts, doesn't mean that the officiating was biased. I'd say on at least 1/2 of the fouls called on Boston, they INTENTIONALLY FOULED the Cavs player that was about to make an easy dunk or layup. Lebron was hammered several times as he exploded to the rim and many times didn't even get a shot off because he was either fouled hard or wrapped up. That doesn't happen on touch fouls. If there were just touch fouls (or no foul) on Lebron in those drives, he would have made just about every basket since he's so strong.

Doc Rivers and Glenn Davis share the ame nickname but for different reasons. During the entire playoffs (Atlanta series especially) Kevin Garnett has been given preferential treatment by the refs. On multiple occasions he should have been called for flagrant fouls but the refs swallowd their whistles.

Good call, Tim.

It's fun watching players' faces after drives in the playoffs. I'd say that about 70% of fouls are not being called.

Of course, if they started calling fouls as they should, then everybody would be all over the refs to "let them play" and to stop calling so many fouls.

Being at the game last night, the only difference I saw in the foul shots came from our's being in the act of shooting and there's coming on the floor. The refs called about the same amount of fouls on each team, but you can sense Rivers getting desperate by pulling the ref card with a pivotal game remaining. We've beenhere before under this type of magnitude and we will get it done, unless Stern makes the call and stops it. Go Cavs!!

Finally, the ref's looked like they wanted us to win and we did get some questionable calls that went our way (CAVS).
Now when we get back to Bahston, I believe the ref's will lean toward Bahston, so the Cavs will have to really point some points on the board to win this last game and move on.
