TASER SAVES LIVES EVERYDAY. Tasers do not kill. The Judge told the the county medical examiner, Dr. Lisa J. Kohler, she should not be practicing law and had to base her conclusion on FACTS, not personal bias.

If I were the medical examiner, I'd make a deal with the judge - I'd tell the judge that I'd refrain from making legal opinions and that the judge should refrain from making medical opinions.

Not only was he harming himself analy, he was smearing it on the walls and floors, and flinging it at the deputies. As far as the claim of a boot, think about it. No way, maybe up the crack of his rear, and that's about as far as that went.

hey canary you should quit singing untill you know what your talking about. you need to get a copy of the bill of particulars and read it. the deaputies are the ones saying that one of them kicked mark in the balls so hard that it went up his ass! as marks mom as well as eneyone else with agree that seems humanly inpossible to accomplsh. I AM HAPPY TO SEE THOUGH THAT JUSTICE IN THIS TOWN ( MIGHT ) JUST HAPPEN! AT LEAST I PRAY SO! THANKS WALSH!

I worked in Law enforcement for twenty four years. 18 of those I did crime scene investigation and worked on many homicide, suicide,and undetermined death cases. This work is extremly complex and is not taken lightly by those who perform it. Although we may not always agree with certain outcomes or rulings we must allow the system to work. The prosecutors and Defense Attorneys are doing their jobs well along with the Medical Examiner and I am sure they have everyones best interest at hand. The best evidence and facts of the case will prevail so we must allow our officials to do their jobs and support them. Prosecutor Dean Holman is a very excellent prosecutor who is fair and just, let's just let him do his job and await the outcome.

You're nuts. i was saying to his father that we should sue taser, not for money but to get them to remove marks case from thire suit. i never claimed it was taser that killed him pacificly. i said it was a combination of every thing that killed him because thats what we had been told. we still dont know if any of his injuries were life threating or not. but from everything weve been told i dont see how they couldnt of been. it wasnt untill 2 weeks ago our lawyer told us what as he put it was the final straw that broke the camals back. was the o.c. spray that caused him to suffocate to death.

He was a mentally ill out of control person who was anally penetrating himself and deficated in the process. He then threw the feces at the officers. Again, shut your pie hole and let the adults talk.

If you were the medical examiner, you could probably have done about as good a job as the current one since she didn't use any medical expertise and facts to issue the opinion. Listen people for the last time, look at the medical examiners own testimony in court. They both admitted that they had no knowledge of how the taser worked, no knowledge of any medical study that tasers cause injury, they consulted no experts on the subject matter, they did no investigation on their own, and they don't know what caused the deaths of the individuals. They should have then concluded that the cause of death was "undetermined". The fact that they rendered an opinion in the case is illegal and malpractice. The judge could only make the ruling that he did. Let it go.

Excellent post jabo. Let me point one thing - a judge that "orders" a cause of death changed damages the criminal justice system. It's a dangerous expansion of an already activist judiciary. If the judge doesn't like the cause of death the Medical Examiner finds -- just change it. While the judge may be an accomplished jurist, he is certainly no medical expert and ought to respect the boundary of his position and the limits of his role. I've known Dean Holman since 1992 and find him to be a fair prosecutor, gifted attorney, and a decent human being. He'll get it right.

What man would not protect their scrotum like precious gold? Anal, genital, and perinea blunt force trauma; with: Abrasions of the scrotum. Contusions and superficial abraded laceration of the anal mucosa. Dermal and subcutaneous contusions of the perineum. Contusions of the deep perianal fibro-adipose gluteal tissues. Chemical burns to head, neck, torso, extremities, and genitalia.
