Teens accused in robberies, pistol-whipping
By Beacon Journal staff

POSTED: 12:50 p.m. EDT, May 14, 2009

Akron police arrested two 15-year-old boys accused of robbing two men, one of whom was beaten with a handgun.

The teens, both from Akron, are being held on aggravated robbery charges at the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center.

Police say a 22-year-old Akron man was robbed Wednesday afternoon in the 200 block of Oakdale Avenue. He told police he was followed by three juveniles, one of whom eventually pulled a gun and demanded his cell phone.

In an earlier robbery attempt Wednesday, a 53-year-old man said three teens approached him at Edgerton Road and Casterton Avenue and demanded all of his ''stuff.'' After telling the teens he had nothing, one of the boys hit him in the head several times with a handgun, police said.

Akron police found one of the teens in the 200 block of South Portage Path. Another was arrested at the corner of Portage Path and West Market Street. They are looking for a third suspect.

"All of it...?"

"Yeah!!!"

"Do you guys have a truck or something? I mean I have a sectional couch and several book cases... and there's the bed, of course... washer...dryer... dishes... assorted bric-a-brac... area carpets, ironing board... look, maybe you should be writing this down."

Having gang members recruited into the military,(rummy the dummy) we expect them to act like this when ever they are out of sight of command authority!
