Well, if it has been ruled a homicide and they interviewed the person he fought, then they are surely in custody...I would hope!

Pondview runs all the way over to Newton Street. Just wondering if anyone saw the fight. I knew the victim when I was in school, and am sad about this.

I was Tom's ex-wife. From what I have been told his house keeps getting broke into by the same 17 yr.old that did this to him over play station game and games. This is off Newton St. and even if it's the worst area of town doesn't everyone deserve to be protected? No one should be allowed to get away with that...

I am so sorry to hear that Sandy. Did they catch the kid?

Pondview runs from Newton street & across Goodyear Blvd. & dead ends into the street that Maaco is on. Regardless of where it is Tommy was never an upstanding person, and was always prone to fighting. Where is his house in the Falls. Always in the Heights fighting & disorderly.

Wow, you sound kind of bitter "Knows him well." Regardless of what you think of him, I am sure there are plenty of people that love him and miss him. It takes a real nasty person to write what you just did. My sympathies to Tommy's family and friends.

This 17 year old kid assaulted him. He did not try to fight anyone. This kid came up behind him and cold-cocked him. "Knew him well"... how long ago did you know Tommy well? Because he is not the same Tom Rondy you knew. He was a very well liked and loved man, and in the 7 years I have known him, he has been like a father to me and has never tried to start a fight with anyone. All he was doing was trying to protect his own property. Now he is gone because of some punk kid. Tommy was greatly loved and and will be forever missed. Thomas, I know your sister Raeann would love to hear from you. Please contact her.

This is a true tragedy. Tom was my brother and will all ways be my brother. No one deserves to be struck down like this. Only a lowlife scumbag coward would attack another human being in this manner. I sure hope however you are, you get whats comeing to you legally or illegally. RIP my brother my prayers are with you and will miss haveing you around when we're in Ohio. Love Tom Bill, Sue, Ken & Becky.
