D.N. Stannard, time to pull your head out of your kiester. America is in bad shape because of the Republicans, plain and simple. We ahave a Republican moron for president and his cabinet is mostly morons and now we have another moron Bush clone running for president. McCain picks a woman for VP hopeful whose only expereince is Mayor of a city of 7,000 people and a few years as governor. McCain just proved he is the moron clone of G W Bush. If McCain dies in office you have a woman with no experience in international affairs and was governor of Alaska. She is by no means ready to be the leader of the free world. I'd say that voting for McCain and having her as VP is more than just a gamble, it stupid to the Nth degree. I would bet McCain would also fill his cabinet with the same time of idiocy. McCains choice for VP should be a red flag to the American people that he cannot make a good choice if it smacked him smack dab in the face. I have nothing against having a woman VP or president, I just want one that is totally qualified in this day and age. The people have a right top be very mad and should voice their opinions openly and freely as that is true patriotism. We have had enough of lying republican cheerleaders wothout a brain.

We may see change with McCain. Probably another war. I don't think I like that change. Nothing against his vp pick, she is ok but should not hear anymore of McCain's inexperience commercials (ya right) McCain will keep lying about Obama raising tax's. Best said "eight is enough"

If elected -- heaven forbid -- Barack Obama will prove to be the most divisive president ever. Remember, he is the one that sat in Rev. Wright's church of anti-white hate for 20 years.

Obama is at best a man-child. He is not ready for prime time. Look how strong women scare him -- Michelle henpecks him; he ran from Hillary; now watch what Sarah does to him.

good points Kit......Obama doesn't have the skill to run a country. He wants to take the money of people that have worked for it and give more of it to those that have not worked for it.... You can't tell me that one morning rev. wright woke up and started preaching that cr*p. Obama sat through it week after week. If McCain was found to have attended a white supremacist church he would be done. but we give Obama a break. Why? Couldn't he hear what was being said or was the cheering in his head to loud?

Mars...the willfull stupids on the "right" could care less about this country. Their brains are fried...and there is no turning back. Insanity is described as repeating the same mistakes over and over again...and expecting a different result. Naming this completely UNQUALIFIED BIMBO as a Vice Presidential running mate is like having me perform open heart surgery. McCain is desparate. This is "No Country For Old Men." What a complete FARCE. Come on Kool Aid drinkers.....be honest.....how many of you even heard of this soccer mom before McBush picked her off the Kook Pile????

First off, I'm no koolaid drinker. Great Lakes Ales are far better.

Second, the first part of your post is typical left vitriol. you should be proud, you're one of the best for spewing crap like that.

Honestly, I'd never heard of the current Governor of Alaska until her nomination. How that's relevant, I don't know.

Two names for you to consider before you drag this lame argument into the open:

Jimmy Carter.

Bill Clinton.

Both governors, both unheard of until they ran.

Yes, Carter and Clinton were governors, for how long though?

Obama is ready to lead this country in the right direction. McCain is the one that will not. Its obvious that Obama is a take charge person and that McCain is a puppet of the elite.

Carter was first term. I don't know and don't have the time to check Clinton.

As for O'Bama being ready to lead, I disagree totally, but that's the beauty of America. We can disagree and go forward to live another day.

D N Stannard: yee haw, America must feel darn good now that you have asked God to bless her. if only we could become people worthy of God's blessing, and long for EVERYONE (not only Americans) to strive to be so worthy. greed, selfishness, etc. are problem-causing traits, and drawing attention to them can only make one appear immature.

Wow, I can't believe anyone would vote Republican after what they've done to the Ohio economy. Guess that money hasn't really trickled down, has it?
I think the main reason folks here don't like Obama is because he's black.
"Experience" is just a code word for "not white enough". Most people are just too ashamed to admit that.

Mars Bonfire's criticism of D.N. Stannards opinion merely reinforced Stannard's view that the liberals' only response to cogent, logical discussion is personal attacks on anyone who disagrees with their idealistic, simplistic view of how things ought to be.

Those who support the liberal (Obama) stance are those who are not capable of attaining success by their own merits.
