The coroner ruled death by taser. Who was the judge to change that? Summit County corruption at it's finest!

I smell a rat here. The man didn't die on his own accord. Who's goin to be held accountable is the question here. Let's get it right folks, you did it or you didn't.

Don't everyone get their boxers in a bunch. The prosecutor merely has to take the case to the grand jury again. without the coroner's determination that it was homocide.

not true. the judge can let the indictment stand as it is. the evidence would simply be presented at trial and if it doesn't meet the legal standard it could then be tossed.

unless an indictment has something wrong with it as written it can't just be dismissed. this isn't a civil case.

Well then, this should be another rousin' thread of anti-police comments.

I'm willin' to wait and see what happens in court. Most likely, from what we've read so far, a not guilty verdict will prevail.

It was a republican judge ruling this case to be an undetermined cause of death!

Maybe it's the normal course of action with this grump moron, but most people don;t end up with a night stick up there butthole when someone is doing their job. These officers went far beyond their scope of action and this man died. They need to be held accountable for murdering this guy. Schneiderman has no business interferring with a medical report. He should stick to being a bad judge and let the Coronor stick to medical issues. I am surprised the Coronor hasn't filed an appeal yet to this ruling. Summit County politicans alwaysprotect their own. I am sure Schneiderman received plenty of donations from the FOP over the years when he was running for office.

They should start issuing the deputy's Double 0 numbers.

Since they just issued them a license to kill...

The five deputies should be held accountable for their actions This death was not of natural causes, and the 5 deputies know this. I am sure killing a person in jail is not part of a deputy's job duties.

Maybe if the Hoodies want to get away with being criminals, they should become law enforcement officers. It doesn't matter what they do, they're always cleared of their actions no matter how horrible.

People, you need to relax. They can ask for all sorts of things. Doesn't mean they will get it.

You should be glad Schneiderman ruled the way he did, he exposed incompetent medical examiners that could not answer many of the questions posed to them. That is the scary part.

The deputies are not out of the woods, all this means is a delay for now.

The prosecutor needs to keep the pressure on and not back down going to trial. It would be a very dangerous precedent if these FIVE DEPUTIES were not held accountable for what happened in that jail cell.
