Furthermore, she should have disciplinary action taken against her for having cheated. This town has an opportunity to help this kid.

Dear Rest of the USA. I just saw a YouTube clip of the show in question and don't have any major objections to it -- they're raising their kids as they see fit. Her parents are the REVERSE of controlling, whereas the kid in some ways controls them but they seem to love it (or perhaps it was an act for the show's producers). When you criticize other parents on how they raise their kids and expect them to listen, you've got to get the same in return and heed it just as much as you would prefer them to heed yours, else you are as hypocritical as they come. Now kindly stfu.

Thats funny, I know this family and they were right on with that show. That is exactly how they are. And the daughter....get 15 feet from her and shell pull out her Iphone and show you how truly beautiful she thinks she is. How can you NOT think what these parents were doing to his kid was anything short of abuse???

First, doing her school work is CHEATING. They are cheating her out of her education. And she is not learning. You could tell by listening to her -- she can barely form an intelligent sentence, that is no doubt thanks to her mother doing her work for her for years. She might look "cute" but she sounds like a idiot.

How will this "gorgeous" girl get into college? She might be able to get in, but what will she study? "Sparkle?" Do they have a degree in that? Maybe a degree in "shallowness?" She could handle that. Mom could still do her work for her.

These kiddie pagents are nothing short of kiddie porn. Ever noticed how the parents are generally unattractive and seem to be living out their pathetic fantasies through their kids??? These two parents sure were not gorgeous and didn't have any "sparkle."

Her mother came across as a shallow bubble brain (like mother, like daughter) and her father was even worse.
