to the people who think myspace should be shut down, or think people 18 or older should only be on:
you're dumb it's not myspace's fault dumb little girls go off to marry some guy off the internet they're idiots and parents if your dumb enough to think it's myspace that made your daughter so stupid...think again its your fault too. get a life people seriously and understand that it was that girls decision to go there, no one elses sure, myspace provoked her but she was dumb enough to actually go that far. |

My space is a perfect example of something that can and will be misused by some people and enjoyed by others. The bottom line is, don't have children if you are too lazy, or too busy to invest your time into their supervision and nuturing. If you have a young person in your home, be aware of their friends and their activities. Be a parent, it takes time and energy...

Yeah, shut down the website. The stupidest people are on Myspace. Read all the blogs by these elderly women on there that think Hillary Clinton could still win. Just ridiculous!

To be perfectly honest, it is the parents responsibility for the actions of their children. There are programs you can get that track keystrokes that will allow you to see exactly what your child is doing. There are also monitors that will block any and all unwanted websites. Plus if you were to contact the owner of Myspace, and ask him to ban your IP address, he will do so, may take awhile, but he will do it.
Again though, it is the parents responsibility to watch and track what their child does. You are in the wrong to blame websites such as Myspace, which has all the tools you need to keep your child safe, if you just take the time and look for them. |
