Blackhawk you want proof? I was a senior at one of the Academies and tried to help a younger cadet who had irrefutable proof that a rape occurred. Instead of investigating as required by law CID intimidated her into not reporting and then her CO and Regimental COmmander smeared me saying I was the one who assaulted her. Both she and I were forced out of the academy under the auspices of the "honor system" to keep the whole issue quiet. rather than pursue a legitimate claim officers in the military will do anything to protect their own backsides from any undue attention - even ruining others' careers.
