Can anyone here recommend a good martial arts school in the Aiken or maybe North Augusta area?

I saw this topic and had actually put a few ads for my school in the "classifieds" section of this website last night.

I teach karate and martial arts at the Aiken County Recreation Center and would love for you to come try out my class. Classes are $25 per month with NO contracts, and no testing or start up fees.
The Recreation Center is right past Aiken Technical College on the Hwy 1/Jefferson Davis Hwy (also called the Aiken-Augusta Hwy).

Do you teach tae kwon do or just karate?

I teach a mixed style of karate. It is mixed from kempo karate, shotokai karate, and Japanese jiu-jitsu.

If you want kicking, which taekwondo is known for, we do a lot of the same kicking. The difference is we do more punching than a typical taekwondo school.

Since when is fighting not an option in self defense? Thousands of years proven to do what?
