Or did I not read all of it. It was just random women they picked up at bars? Still, just as ridiculous

How did you come up with the idea that "People become cops because they got picked on in school."? |

Just a wild hunch, but no... Sumter is not in Aiken county, and these guys were narcotics investogator in the Aiken County Sherrif's dept. |
|

Look at the SLED website. Clearly probable cause exists for an arrest warrant for misconduct in office and sexual misconduct. These are the same charges SLED issued an arrest warrant for Judge Charles T. Carter. Also, an arrest for adultery and/or fornication can also be made since ACSO loves to stack charges. In addition, there may be some drug possession and/or distribution charges here which a through independent investigation may reveal. If they can charge Thomas Ravenel for a few grams of crack, then this needs to be looked into, after all crack ho's love crack!!!

You know a lot of cops get disciplined in the Aiken County Sheriff's Office (ACSO), but the local media, Aiken Standard, rarely publishes this information. We think that Lt. Billy Flurry was recently disciplined, but he is married to Magistrate Tracey Carroll, and this discipline action has yet to be released by the ACSO. The problem of misconduct in office is very real in the ACSO and we suspect that it's not confined to the four scapegoats who were fired.

This is the first time we have seen Lt Michael Frank, the Sheriff's Public Affairs director, at a lost for words during a press conference. He needs to come clean and let the Aiken Community know what's really going on with our tax dollars in this department.

We would like to see the meeting minutes or hear the audio tape of the meeting between Chief Deputy Dwayne Courtney and Solicitor Barbara Morgan which took place on Thursday, October 5, 2007 before the decision was made to fire these guys. Why did they need to discuss the ramifications of these dismissals with the Solicitor's Office if the ACSO had already determined that the misconduct was cause for termination? SLED should investigate this too!

Are these four DUDES criminals, or did they just got caught up with the wrong person lately.
Do I see crimes been committed by these 4 characters/criminals... or are they just 4 guys that meant no harm and besides everyone do alittle dirt every once and awhile. |
|
Also, what was the "sex act." Someone's trying to sugar coat this mess.

WHY POST THEIR PICTURES IN THE INTERNET!?! FIRE THEM, SANCTION, DISCIPLINED, BUT DON'T PUT THEM IN DANGER!!!!!!!!!! They worked narcotics for God's sake not traffic! Have a little common sense, please. I strongly disagree with putting names and pictures on the internet atleast for the loved ones sakes.

I'm trying to understand what they did wrong? I see Richland County Deputies that use their squad cars for personal things all the time.

The FEDS, DEA needs to do a through investigation of this narcotics unit. Anytime you see the whole unit terminated there's more problems than meet the eye. More than likely illegal drugs were being routinely diverted in exchange for sex. Also, the SC Attorney General needs to look into operation of this law enforcement department, and determine if they need to step in and clean house.
|
|
I totally agree. Yes, they did do wrong but you do have to consider the families; the wives, children, etc. Now, everyone knows that their dad(s) were undercover cops working narcotics. Once again, I am not taking up for these fellows, but that just goes to show you that nobody is going to take care of you or look out for you or your family like you would. SO, EVERYBODY BE CAREFUL. THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU AS WELL. |
|
|
This unit was involved in every drug case as they would have been in the chain of custody at a minimum. That is, at least one of these guys signed for the illegal drugs and had sole possession of the drugs for some period of time. If they are no longer a credible witness, each case should be either dismissed or will be dismissed at trial - no plea bargains here.
