Former Mayoral candidate Dr. Panos D. Prevedouros, Ph.D. would have a new forum if he seeks the seat vacated by the late Dr. Duke Bainum.

I am not certain if he now resides in his Council district, but a special election will pit him amongst his competitors as a standout.

With Mayor Hannemann poised to run for the Governor of the State of Hawaii, which requires him to step down, the City Administration might perhaps be losing fixed rail's strongest proponent, unless Mufi plans to push for it from the State Administration vantage point.
