that Walter P. Yim Assoc. did not represent the seller nor the buyer. Mr. Kalani paid Mr. Yim a fee of $500 for services rendered. That contract became an intrigal part of the overall scam. The mortgage brokers Kalani and Wood received considerable funds from this scam. Mr Yim had no idea that this was a scam. He did this for a so called "friend".

Old man Yim was scammed by his son and the others. Now he's got a choice. Give up the son or bite the bullet. Either be a witness, or a defendant.

If the Feds would have done their job in the first place 5 years ago there wouldn't be half of these fraud arrests. They come swooping in cleaning up a mess from 5 years ago to get headlines. Give me a break ... These 5 years too late busts only make the US Attorney and FBI look foolish.
