Hello Carole.....still fanning the "flames of Truth"? Good, someone needs to bring insight to a rather entrenched corrupt "old boy network" of Hawaii's politics infested with human parasites existing at the expense of others.
Truth of the matter is that the people who keep re-electing these politicians are the primary problem for why there are no changes. Mufi is just another rubber stamp crony, "singing" his tune to the likes of those corrupt "old boy network".
And yes, unfortunately Hawaii's residents better wake up soon and have no one else to blame but themselves. That's the biggest problem with locals, they don't have the guts to challenge the "system" and expect someone else to do their "dirty" work so they can collect their "welfare" benefits!
Yes, they deserve what's coming and as soon as Inouye, Akaka (useless) and Abrocombie exits out, Hawaii will be just a junior status amongst the powerhouses in Washington DC, begging for handout scraps!!!!
Aloha, John!

Well, I found when I lived in Hawaii, that many (most?) of the locals did not want to hear the truth...... If they acknowledge that the system is corrupt, it might obligate them to do something about it.....

"Free market capitalism produces long-term economic growth. Socialism and middle-way economic interventionism by the state produce poverty and bureaucracy. If your goal is to keep poor people poor, generation after generation, you should promote socialism. But be sure to call it economic democracy in order to fool the voters."

Anyone outside the group can't get elected to dogcatcher on Oahu, if the people would actually vote in some outsiders, things might just eventually change.

Yes, We Can!
