Congratulations Star Bulletin. You have apparently become the unofficial Mufi for Governor campaign headquarters. What a bunch of nonsense this is. Anybody who drives on Oahu's roads, and that's just about everyone, knows they are a disaster. Mufi's been mayor for years now so it doesn't work to blame it on previous administrations. Sure, the city crews sometimes come by and patch the roads. Four weeks later the same holes reappear and it's back to doing the asphalt slalom course as you try to avoid driving into another shin deep pothole. And how about those sewer line repairs? How many years did it take the city to install a three mile long sewer line down Kalaheo Avenue in Kailua? I lost track. Was it four years? Five? Seven? Gee whiz, a couple of guys with shovels could have dug a ditch faster than that.

Here's an idea: why not rename the Star Bulletin to something like "The Hanneman Daily" or "The Mufi Times?" I'm sure readers would appreciate the honesty. By the way, what happened to Bill Brennan? Isn't he usually responsible for these propoganda pieces? I hope he wasn't incapacitated by another DUI arrest!

Typical Mufster spin and shibai. Notice how he throws out dollar amounts but fails to say where we are in progress. Notice how the Mufster will never say something like, "My administration has identified ___ miles of roads that need repair and to date have repaired ____ miles." Why not? Truth is because the Mufster hasn't got a clue as to how well he is or is not doing. Heaven forbid he look worse than he already is, giving his chance of "Da Gov" no chance. Well, he already has no chance. Anway, reporters need to ask the hard questions versus just printing more of his shibai. We are tired of it. When does he go home for good? Can't be soon enough. Just another day in the Nei.

The road in front of my home was just repaved. The last repavement was 18 yrs ago. 18 yrs. Now muli can claim that he is not neglecting the roads because of rail. Always save the major projects for election year. What a joke. Hawaii voters seem to fall for that kind of stuff.

So, your road got repaved and you're still complaining.

Election year is approaching so Mufi is doing everything now to show the people he's doing something with the roads. Perfect timing. He should have done this years ago.

Wow, childish and predictable cartoons from some juvenile, underemployed columnist. Somehow I'm not very amused or impressed.
