So this is the Legislatures answer, lets work less for you since we are only part time workers and we can justify this since the budget crisis caused everyone else to take pay cuts or furloughs.

Funny how everyone says each year that they will vote out the "Do Nothing Legislators" but no one is willing to step up to the plate and run against them.

The way I see it there are a ton of you out there who "think" you can do the job better, so put your money where your mouth is!

Wait a minute...a year ago they got a 36% pay raise. Now they cut the time they are in session? Less work for more pay? Where do I get a job like that? Who do you have to know or go down on?
You just have to run for office like they do. Are you going for it?

Isn't it being tyranical to remain as Senate President when she is trying for a congressional seat? It is typical of her actions. All she is thinking about is her benefits and not of her constituents. All her actions are for self. Like proposal of having a OBAMA Day as a State holidy, what is she doing? It really looks like Kissing okole to me. What has OBama done to be recognized, especially as a State Holiday? This State already has too many paid holidays. Instead of trying to save money for the State, this arogant lady is thinking of spending more put the State in a worse deficit? I often wonder, where are the minds of the voters of Hawaii?
