Fireworks retailers are still expecting sales to pop despite the sagging economy.

If you live in Waipahu, you have fire works every day and night of the year. We have people who set off these things that sound like bombs every night. Nothing is done about it. I am all for professional fire works, not fire works for idiots that set them off every night up until 11 pm. This is just another reason why fire works should be done away with !!!!

Those which have been exploding since Halloween are obviously illegal. All it takes is one nobody trying to be noticed, to ruin it for miles around.
HPD has special units out looking for them, was quieter last night so may be working.

You Californians are always sticking your fork tongues in Hawaii's problems. Why don't you take care of your own hauna problems? Drugs are pouring over your borders to find its way to Hawaii. I glad those cartels haven't started killing on our streets. OH by the way since you like to RAG on our poor, what about your illegal immigrants and their sneaking across the border to break your social services? No wonder you guys are broke A S S. It is amazing to us also how many on the mainland are always giving us advice like we live in caves. One of the worst is from Ill. thinks we cannot even read maps.

Then there is the group constantly telling us how wonderful rail is, as if we cannot figure out they have their bags packed to come here and work.

Also amazing that even the drunks and brain dead all over town at least know that they are better off here. Unfortunately we are forced to care for them dragging our state down also.

Yup and making ALL fireworks illegal will make it easier for the HPD to enforce. Get caught with ANYTHING and you are sighted/arrested. These firworks maniacs have zero consideration for their neighbors. I treat them accordingly. What comes around goes around!

I swear I think I no longer live in one of the United States of America when I hear the bombs going off all hours of the day! Hawaii has become a war zone with the local-kine terrorists blowing off sh*t for the past 4 months steady. I fully agree with making all fireworks illegal. I'm so tired of hearing it. People who are addicted to both are selfish individuals who have no respect for law or other people.
Theie weak reasoning for this addiction is over ruled by their of breaking the laws, littering the aina and causing health issues for the non participants.
