Error in headline. HSL 37 is stationed at the Marine Corps Base Hawaii, but they are a US Navy squadron, not Marines.

NOEND I hope you never need an ambulance or a rescue. But he well could be alive for a day or so and it is worth a life.

Who would pay if your family member was missing at sea? Its a human courtesy to make a effort to find this man. If it is a hoax like the Colorado father that said his kid was in a balloon then its time to make them pay for it.

This is such sad news.

For those who fish on boats, or know of people who fish on boats, be aware of this very VERY important device: Personal Locator Beacon (PLB).

It emits an emergency signal that satellites pick up, along with your GPS location. It's small enough to wear all the time.

The Coast Guard saved at least 4 people here in Hawaii already. They got the call in 15 minutes or less, and had a helicopter on scene in 90 minutes. The victims were home, safe and sound, before they even made the news.

Please pass this along. Hopefully they'll never need it. But if they do, it WILL save a life.

BTW, this can be used anywhere in the world. Ocean, mountains, desert, rainforest.

Daily Horoscope for December 4

Capricorn

With the imaginative Moon in your house of significant others creating deceptive waves with dreamy Neptune, it's one of those difficult days in which you could talk yourself into doing or thinking almost anything. You normally have both feet planted firmly on the ground, but now it's time to indulge in some delicious flights of fancy. If you do disappear into a world of your own, be sure to return to Planet Earth in the near future.
