The los Angeles County NAT team (nusience abatement team) is abusing citizens. They enter property with guns and write citations for petty minusia. They arrive in a caravan of district attorney thugs, building and safety, regional planning, dog catcher and any other agency that they can extract a penney with. They then proceed to destroy every bodies lives.

When a citation is issued they refuse to give you a hearing, "Clean it up or we will fine you".

This Nazi group has netted the County hundreds of thousands of dollars in new revenue at the cost of home and land owners expense.

If anybody has any contact with these storm troopers please post on this subject. This needs to be stopped.

They came over to my house and opened my gate and a caravan came down my driveway. The cops got out with guns drawn and the first thing out of their mouth was "are you taking drugs and where are the guns". Nobody showed me a warrent or called for an inspection, they just showed up because some realestate person complained about the property not being in compliance with their lot they were listing.

My nearest neighbor is 1 1/2 mile down the road, so what I didn't cut the weeds and I have 1 truck I am fixing.(got a ticket for both and they won't give me a court date they want it fixed)

They also told me I had a green house that needs a permit for (plastic covering hoops for tomatoes) and gave me a notice to stop.

These a-__les came on my property with a closed gate, guns drawn, wanting me to fix some petty crap. what the hell is going on.

You think that is bad, there is not enough room here for me to tell you what those bastar__ did to me. I lost 2 10 acre parcels because of the harassment they did. They even came with M-16s and straddled me on the ground, went to my trailer and poked my kid in the head with muzzle of their machinegun, and the poor kid freaked. He still has nightmares. I have been fined into submission, I finaly got to court and the DA didn't know what to do.
I have been arrested numerious times from warrents that these ass-oles have trumped up because I cant afford to do what they say, they have tried to take my kids away, and have drained every cent from me. I am now trying to sell my last property at fire sale prices.
Yes I highly suspect that a local real estate guy is turning everybody in to generate listings.

I am moving out of this chicken sh__ state.

this has been going on for 2 years. They origonaly were put together to target drug labs and squaters. Then they ran out of victims. So the county supervisor is using them to police the west valley by forcing people to get permits for buildings over 120 sq ft (including chicken coops, horse stalls, greenhouses, car ports and everything you can imagine, remove cars, remove trailers and remove houses with septic systems that are over 15 years old). When you go to the regional planning or building and safety in lancaster to correct the "problem" and ask for guidelines they don't have any and don't want to produce any, and they refuse to give you any help. The counter people are afraid to say anything because of the draconian ham fisted ass__ that came up from LA to run the project.

One comment that sticks in my mind is " I don't care what the code says I want it done this way and thats that".

I have personally talked to a few victims on 230th st. and on west lancaster rd. and the depression and frustration these people have is to the point of suicide (I am not exagerating). Now the odd part about all of this is these people pay taxes, own 5 to 20 acres and have families that were placed on the ground and threatened with violence if they didn't cooperate, and they don't take dope, have 8:00 to 5:00 jobs and one that I know of attends town hall meetings.
When these nazi gestapo storm troppers show up they don't produce a warrent or any court documents they just walk right in and take over. when told to leave they indicate that they have a gun and you are told to shut up and sit down (personal experience)
At one of these town hall meetings a represenative of the NAT team gave a presentation and made some disturbing statements like:
Ques:Don't you need a warrent or court document to enter property.
Ans: No we don't need anything like that we can go where ever we want.

Statement: After we hooked them up and transported them we used our vechiles to pushover their trailers so the can't use them when we release them.(this was heard by at least 35 people in the meeting and was a hot topic after the meeting)
There is not enough of space to describe the crap these people are getting away with, that is why I am writting this, maybe the rest of you will be forwarned

So these guys enter the property without displaying a warrant along with law enforcement identification?

I like cops and would probably let them in without a warrant. Not hiding anything here.

But somebody forcing their way in without proper ID or documents could accidently get shot. I know California is fucked up but they can't just disregard the constitution.

I know that I would not hesitate to defend my home and property. They better bring more than some M-16s if they don't plan to show a warrant and ID.

Still, this thread is deeply disturbing. Why in the world would they raid small ranches on the west side? Drugs? Fire hazard? Some kind of building code? Something stinks.

There is a drive in the west side to clean up the area for the future project at "Centinel at the Tejon Ranch". Also there is a company that is buying up all the large pieces of land for solar generation projects (they are using money from a internet giant). The wind turbine people are being out bid on every tract of land.

An odd coincidence is that the county was given a grant for the NAT team,(where did the grant come from) some time ago,to clean up the valley, supported by the county supervisor.
A high proportion of raids are generated by certain real estate people complaining about other peoples land near or next to a listing they have (some are near or touching the large tracts of land. Many people are getting frustrated with the bad treatment at the county level and are selling their properties and a number of them are being purchased by this indian fellow.

The cits are running the gambit for everything but generaly it for the 120 sq ft rule on buildings (there is no specific reg.)old cars, trash, and other things.

Here's my favorite:(I am copying it verbatium from a cit.)
1. Maintenance of premises so out of harmony and/or conformity with the Maintenance standards of adjacent properties as to cause substantial diminution of enjoyment, use, or property values of such adjacent properties.
2. Attractive nuisances in the form of abandoned or broken equipment, and neglected machinery.
3. Broken or discarded furniture and household equipment in yard areas for unreasonable period.
4. Miscellaneous articles of personal property scattered about the premises.
5. Trash, junk, and debris scattered about premises.

Now keep in mind this citation was not issued in the city, it was issued in the farthest reaches of north LA county where the population is about 2 people for 5 sq miles. and the nearest neighbor is 1.75 miles away. And oh yes ,It was a complaint from a realestate dweeb.

If theres broken down cars, trash, old appliances and the property looks like shit why not clean it up? Those of us that live in city limits have to abide by the same rules yet I never hear any horror stories about people in city limits. For some reason I feel theres more to some of these instances that posters are putting forth.

I agree with you on being neat and clean. But it doesn't take guns, violence and intimadation to get it done. The whole point of the gripe is the execution of the raid, with guns and force where a letter would do fine. And this is an everyday occurance for the last year. Every day they try to hit at least 6 locations a day.(some of the participants don't approve of the tactics either, thats how I find out)

Cities are crowded and conjested. I don't see LAPD barging onto property with guns drawn and putting people on the ground for some petty zoning code violation.(I could be wrong they just shot a homeless man)

You can be a nay sayer all you want, you are not here and you didn't have to eat dirt.
But thank you for your response ,it is good to get everybody involved.

I am now selling my property because of the county and their unreasonable demands. My wife refuses to stay because of the treatment endured on the day of the visit from 6 deputy DA enforcers, 4 dog catchers, 2 child services, 3 sherif dep.,1 regional planning, 2 building and safety and some other fellow who nosed into everything. Their deportment was deplorable and overbearing. and scared my wife to death I was at work.
I had no broken down cars, garbage or trash but got cited for a carport, containers (2) and 1 semi on 40 acres. I also found out that the county will be taxing me for my chickens, goats and horses because of this visit.

Please give us all the info, post it here. We have the money behind us to make their life miserable.
Rules of engagement:

A)Never email any information about setting up a sting operation to catch crooked official /officials. Why? Never post anything on the Internet because it can be brought back and used against you. What’s best? Direct conversation away from the city. B) Set up meetings and network with others on setting up video cameras and surveillance. C) Only work with those who can keep their MOUTHS SHUT! D) Document times, dates, officers involved, pictures, & video tape everything, Set up layers of defense on to your property (Bob wired fence, trip lines, cameras, dogs, metal doors, and rebar in concrete to destroy car tires).*Issues with the dog>>Law enforcement can kill your dog if it proves to be a threat. KEEP the dog inside if police are outside. E) NEVER answer the door, block off all windows for seeing in, no sound, and NEVER open the door because once you do your screwed to any B.S. call on illegal plumbing or fire concern charge against you. This is when you will need your cell phone – Call your network of people that are getting harassed. Call your group over with video cameras and say nothing while taping --the same goes for you! Why? Abusive authorities want conflict with you and because it makes it easier to arrest you for interfering with their job. In reality, they are more concerned about losing their own job. Videotape doesn’t lie! It shows what really happened Never argue or talk to any law enforcement official until you talk to your attorney. Keep saying, I want to talk to my attorney first before saying anything! Say fifty thousand times over and nothing else. Use cameras and protect your dog! Put the dog inside the house so it doesn’t’ get shot. Not all cops are bad and you need to be respectful in stressful situations. Yelling and screaming will put a cop on edge. Cops are trained killers and practice three to five times a week at the shooting range. Keep cool and set up the barriers! Don’t do drugs…Period! Register your guns and keep the ammunition and guns locked in separate containers while driving with weapons. In your house, lock it up! If some official has personal issues with you, you should carry a micro recorder and make it look like an I-pod (Head set and all). I’ve used it in different ways in protecting myself. Law enforcement is necessary and without it society would be a mess. The law enforcement community is 98% good and honest protecting the needs of its citizens. Every day could be their last when confronting a murder, rapist, or drunk driver. The good out weigh the bad.NOTHING in PLAIN VIEW: If you have a code enforcement issue, keep if from plain view! Don’t be a Ricky Retardo or Donny Dumbass!Never carry a concealed pocketknife. In the car, take out all knifes and place the tire iron in the trunk or away from the drivers reach.

I ran across this thread and fell out of my chair. About 4 months ago I was disking my field out at Holliday acres and heard a loud voice "GET ON THE GROUND OR WE WILL SHOOT" being I was on a tractor it was noisy but I heard it plain as day. I looked over to my neighbors house and saw the man, wife and kid spread eagled on the ground with a large number of law enforcement with auto weapons pointing at the neighbors. So I shut off the tractor and watched. They broke down doors, rummaged around, pretty close to shooting the dog, it was in an enclosure, ran a make on the people, then their attitude instantly changed to " whups sorry". But later I had a conversation with my neighbor and he says they cited him for:
~No permits for containers
~Living in a mobile home with no permit???????
~The health dep. told him he could not use the well without a water test.It was an approved well
They said that he has 45 days to correct these and other violations of face a fine. He went to lancaster and nobody would budge, he asked for a hearing and was denied.
I would not beleive it if I had not seen it. He now told me he was informed that he will be taxed for his horses (see link below)

YES-first you need to go to reg. planing,(be exceptionaly nice and patient because the guy at the counter is realy screwed to deal with) then present a certificate of compliance($3500)then pay $770 for a plot plan showing set back, pipes, trees, buildings and wait 4 weeks for approval then go toBuilding & safety and pay $35 or a permit. Then you have to install it to their rules, concrete and welsed to the ground, etc.

YES- Same as above

Seems to be the case

Now being you submitted a plot plan the tax assor will be given a copy of it and you will be taxed for any improvements. Neat HUH

I have had dealings with these Priks. The city hired 11 more code enforcement officers and they need to justify their jobs. I got a nasty letter from a law firm telling me how many days I had to comply with the letter or else. Total BS, they said I could not have an unregistered vehicle on my property, even if it was non opped. The USSR wasn't this bad, they only cared if you were doing something subversive to the government not restoring old cars in your own back yard.

These prix haven't started yet.
When they realize that they can generate money from this activity, KATY BAR THE DOOR. With the shortage of funds, due to them squandering them on give away programs, the system needs more food (money).
Have you seen some of the huge retirement packages the county is giving to some of its exec. or workers. This cost money and with the economy in the tank the investment funds don't pay enough to feed the frenzy. So they try to milk you other ways. No wonder every body is going to TEXAS.

Is this a Lancaster initiative or the whole Antelope Valley?
