This is an episode of drug violence that has come full circle to El Paso. El Paso is no longer safe when it comes to drug wars on the southside of the border, those days are gone as drug factions grow unconcerned about facing justice on this side.
It is no longer hands off violence on the US side. It used to be that way because drug factions wanted to stay off the radar so that their interests on this side were not suspect. Prepare for more drug violence on this side, we are no longer the exception. |

Are You A Drug Dealer? Why Are you So Paranoid! We just Spent Millions On Border Safety For Our Finest Sherifs Department And Even Paid For Them To Attend a Convention In Austin. So dont worry! Perry is making Sure We Are All Protected! YEA RIGHT!! Keep Voting For Him. While Our Schools Fail.( NO KID LEFT BEHIND, PAS'EM ALL) |

What about El Scrappy? The pigs conviniently dropped the investigation of this upstanding citizen - they are obviously very good at "keeping secrets"

Sounds just like the scene from the movie Casino.

Isn't it amazing how everyone jumps to conclusions. How many of you are doing anything to keep our streets safe? How do you know "the victim" was an upstanding citizen? It's obvious that those involved in the "desert meeting" aren't innocent. Why else would they need to meet in the desert. No human being is perfect but I give props to those that help protect us!!

Ignorance is bliss. Keep telling yourself that the Sheriff's Dept. is doing their job. They refused to help our family. He lived in the Agua Dulce colonia. Wake up we live in a desert so any meeting can be considered a desert meeting. Educate yourself and think before spouting your stupidity for all to read.

The Sheriff's Dept. IS doing their job. Obviously, "Hurt Family" is also showing their ignorance in that aspect. As you can see, they're not letting the case go and they're still working on it. They cannot dispute everything with relatives, for it is disclosed information since the case is still open. And apparently there are many things that are unknown. Yes, it's wrong what these three guys did to this young guy, but it is obvious that he was not in the right track. Why would he be carrying a knife around? I hope that everything is taken care of and justice is made but I also hope that they don't do the same unfairness they do over and over again at situations like these. All FOUR guys were involved in negative "world" and I don't think it's fair that they're making it seem like the victim was an upstanding citizen. If the roles were changed with any of the other three guys, i'm sure "hurt family" would change their comments.

Ok, let's go to Comment #8. Your views are obviously from 1 angle. I give props to THOSE that protect us, in any occupation there's going to be mistakes, they're human beings and you can't expect for every single case to be solved or to be focused on 24/7.
Have you been out to far east El Paso/ Horizon? Oh wait, the report showed have stated "vacant desert" to be specific as to where they met! You know exactly what was meant by "desert meeting". Who goes out by themselves to the "desert" to settle an undisclosed dispute? Yeah, there are things that the cops, sheriff, armed forces and our own government doesn't/won't/cant disclose. Wake up what kind of a world do you think we're living in?! Obviously something went down. Just because this guy became a victim of a brutal murder doesn't make him a saint. Kudos to comment #9. THe media make the cops out to be bad guys and you know what? Some of them are, SOME, not every single one of them is bad. You want to point fingers? Leave a comment stating that you have put 100% in everything you did and that you do everything right! We need to give credit to those deserve it. Hopefully the case will get solved, those that are guilty are brought to justice and pay the just price for what they did and may the victims child grow up to be a TRUE out standing citizen. |

police state is coming- these kinds of things are the predecessors....claim your rights before it's too late...

Yes, good job to the investigator for doing what he was hired for. Hopefully the Sheriffs department will come through and finish what they should have started "correctly". Just because a case wasn't publicized doesn't meant that it's not being worked on however they should have done a better job of keeping you and your family informed as to what was being done. But it looks like those who are guilty are being brought to justice, may your family find solace and peace soon. I sympathize and completely understand where you are coming from but at the same time I'd like to believe and hope that those who took the oath to serve and protect, do just that. |

Well -- you can run but you cannot hide. Back in Mexico, how would this have played out? How would your own police have handled it? Just moving to the USA will not make the Mexican drug cartel safe, bad drug deals will still result in death. All the American police can do is investigate the death and cover it up of course to make it seem that El Paso isn't being affected by the cartel violence of Mexico which of course it is because the same scum is on both sides of the border. Sorry but anyone a victim of the orgranized crime rings they involved themselves in is not to be pitied. |

To #12 May be he was the bad influence you can judge thouse that did it because you dont even know what really happen. You can say one thing and the other side its going to say something different. The only thing I agree with you its were you say that there is no such thing as FRIENDS more if you are involve in the drug dealing you should know that!!!!!!!!!!
|

You are right, my fren. Those pigs shotted me all up and then blamed me for it. Now I am burning up here in hell and am way thirsty too. Every time I drink water it comes out of the bulet holes in me. I should be in heaven but that Sheriff Samaniego says bad things about me to God and keeps me from going there. I might have to get my vatos here to help me break into heaven. I just hope they got no pigs there to will shotted me up again. I got enough holes. |
