Cushing officers shoot teenager after disturbance

Cushing police say officers responded to a disturbance call at about 7 p.m. Thursday outside of the clinic and gym on Cushing's Main Street.

ok,Robbi was "slow" at best, some even called him mentally retarded. I knew him for years, he was happy and friendly. I haven't lived in that town for awhile now and haven't seen him. Some say the gun was not real and that he was trying to tell the police that before he was shot "multiple" times.So, here's what I think, IF Robbie did a drug (which I never knew him to do) or IF for some other reason he lost his mind, went crazy and began wailing even a real gun at the police,Could they not tell that he was out of his mind at that time? But still, IF they felt they had to shoot to save themselves, did they have to shoot multiple times to stop the threat???

Seems like when the police are in the wrong the OSBI always seem to take up to a year to complete their report. Perhaps Robbi's family needs a copy of the gym video before it dissapears.

I just hope it doesn't go down like this one, nearly a year with no word to the family...
