Former church to see roof, steeple repairs from grant

There are 7 comments on the North Adams Transcript story from Aug 4, 2009, titled Former church to see roof, steeple repairs from grant. In it, North Adams Transcript reports that:

The city is replacing two roofs and making repairs to the steeple of the former Notre Dame church with the help of a $100,000 matching grant from the Massachusetts Historical Commission -- a move administrators say will not only help ensure the building's integrity, but also make it more desirable to developers in the future.

Conte could never be fixed for our middle school students. No funding available.

It will become strikingly beautiful once "Conte" becomes part of "MCLA".
