This was in the newspaper.

ADVANCE, Mo.- More information continues to surface regarding a body found at McDonald's in Advance Wednesday morning.

While few details were made available, it is known that the Major Case Squad was activated Wednesday afternoon.

Stoddard County Sheriff Carl Hefner said the death was of a "suspicious nature" and an autopsy has been scheduled for Thursday morning.

The autopsy will be performed by Dr. Russell D. Deidiker at the Mineral Area Hospital at Farmington. It is scheduled for 10 a.m.

According to Hefner, a 911 call alerted authorities that a body had been found at approximately 11:30 a.m. in a red GMC truck in the Advance McDonald's parking lot.

Stoddard County Coroner Kenny Pope identified the deceased as 34-year-old Shawn Crow of Bernie. He said Crow was a graduate of Bernie High School and currently works as a heavy equipment operator in the Parma area.

Neither Pope nor Hefner would confirm what made the death appear suspicious or how they believe Crow died.

A witness at the scene reported having seen the truck parked on the lot at about 6 p.m. Tuesday night and noted that there are security cameras on multiple nearby businesses.

Advance Police Chief Donnie Bohnsack was on the scene, along with Stoddard County Sheriff Carl Hefner and Stoddard County EMS. Officers cleared the scene at about 1:45 p.m.

Details will be made available as they are received from authorities.

ADVANCE, Mo.• Authorities in southeast Missouri are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a truck on a McDonald's parking lot.

The Southeast Missourian reports that the body of Sean Crow of Bernie, Mo., was found Wednesday at the McDonald's in Advance. The city is in Stoddard County, about 110 miles south of St. Louis.

Authorities are not saying if they suspect foul play, or how Crow died.

Crow, 34, was a heavy equipment operator. An autopsy was planned.

If you watch the news it will tell you it was Scott and Matt. Matt admitted he pulled the trigger. Those are the two they have in custody for the murder.

During this horrible tragedy people are so mad they want to slander the names of others. What's going on is hard enough already. It may have been over something as childish as a woman and he did use a woman's phone however Matt pulled the trigger. This young woman may have her faults and may have been the reason for two grown men to fight however again it was not her who killed him. She is going to live with her part in this for the rest of her life. There are many people hurting right now. Calling someone out because you want to rub things in the face of someone who has made a mistake makes you no better than they are. That's your mistake. God and time will punish those who deserve.
