There will be a day, Sister Nancy Murray knows, when she will have to return to her order, when being a globe-trotting superstar nun who performs a one-woman show dozens of times a year will no longer be practical, and her congregation, based in southern Michigan , will call her home at last.

Animal, find some other comment site to post your vitrolic hatred. It really has no place here.

This article was a breath of fresh air about a nun (yes, without habit, but still a dedicated religious sister) who has brought insight and grace to many with her performance ministry. Congratulations to Sister Nancy Murray and the Adrian Dominican Sisters!

Thank God for Vatican II, which
allows women like Murray to venture
out and use her talents.

That said, women religious are
NOT ordained. They take vows but
ordination is for priests.

Also, strictly speaking, nuns are cloistered; sisters mix out in the world.

Interesting story about another side
of a famous family. Thanks.

This amazing!
A story about a woman who uses her God-given talent to bring a historical piece to life for her audiences has inspired this blog to become a rant and cursing defilement of the Catholic Church.

I'm surprised it hasn't gone into a rant about Daley or Obama.

Nuns have historically "ventured out" to nurture the sick, educate the ignorant, and comfort the dying. Thanks to VII, there are almost no nuns left to "venture out" or do anything else for that matter. The Vatican is currently evaluating the situation of women religious in the U.S., and I expect that the hammer is about to fall on fake nuns like this poor, worldly woman, and not a minute too soon.
