Arlington mayor won't say whether he'll run again

Arlington Mayor Robert Cluck worked for years to get the new Dallas Cowboys stadium built, but it's not clear whether he plans to be in office when it opens.

Seems to me this city has gone downhill in the last few years. Not to mention how despite a faling economy, tax appraisals went up DRASTICALLY in the last 2 years.
I did some checking around and in the northeast I can live on the water, near parks and forests, in a house that costs just a little more than mone, with one third the taxes.
Maybe Cluck will be moving too, instead of running another term, to a place with LESS CRIME, LOWER TAXES and a much nicer house for the money.

Sure isn't here.
I thought Cluck would do something for the city, instead, roads and bridges are going bad, crime is sky high and taxes are ridiculous.

Arlington needs some new leadership, someone that has the WHOLE city's needs and priorities as a focus...and not THOSE of The Cowboys.

The city jumped in bed with Jerry Jones w/o thinking of what a crappy deal that was for the city.

Cluck should have listened to Laura Miller years ago.

I am counting the days ( have a retirement calender to help me keep track ) until I can leave this crappy place.
The trash and trashy has taken over and there are no good counsil people to lead this city out of the ghetto it's turning into.

I will not miss it here despite being here almost 30 years. Maybe when I'm baiting my fishing hook with some worm, it will remind me of what I left and I'll be smiling I got out and away from it.
No crime where I'm going, resort area.......
no minorities, no poor people, no kids, no schools... just lakes, fishing and mountains.

Cluck as Mayor draws in the trash to this city with an "anything goes" attitude.
I almost feel sorry for you that are not brave or strong enough to map your futures somewhere else.

He must've finally realized that the extra taxes should not have gone to paying the welfare to one of the richest guys in Texas, like Jerry for his personal gain of a stadium and should have gone to helping the everyday folks of the city.

So when does the rest of the Arlington residents get taxpayer build places??? If the rich guy gets it so should everyone else. I have a house that needs renovating...lol
