In a community and State that is losing local businesses to other States, why would St. Lucie county choose a Texas company over a qualified local company?
I think this needs a second review and perhaps a closer look at what the real requirements are to be "qualifed" as a medevac operator. A close inspection of Omniflight might turn up a few disqualifiers.

The fact is that the company chosen manages just about all the trauma hawk helicopters in the country.
There is no better choice out there
