i think this is a shame that a good kid that served his country had to come home and get killed by a person that all ready commited the same crime and was released by the same court system, a system that he defended when he faught iraq.

I worked with this kid at Chicago Cycle Center years ago, I never saw any reason why someone would want to shoot him . He was always nice and positive. Either way there isn't any reason to shoot anyone

I attended Foreman High School with Ricky and am saddened by this tragedy. I send my thoughts, prayers, and best wishes to his family, wife, and friends that also experienced an unfortunate short time with Ricky. I am also a wife and I can only wish you strength to heal a broken heart, Olga. MAY JUSTICE PREVAIL THIS TIME!!!

I went to school with the little *insert not so nice names here* and his sisters. Its sad to say that i am not surprised hes done this not once, but twice. He was nothing but trouble, as were his sisters, when we were in school. the sad part is that he killed a marine, who was standing up for his freedom. A marine who survived his tour of Iraq, only to be killed by some stupid little hoodlum, running around with a gun that is bigger than the balls between his legs, claiming his love for the DUECES that dont give a damn about him anyway and certainly wouldnt take a BULLET for him as MARTINEZ was willing to do for his ENTIRE country, that was raised with NO direction in life. I think his parents ought to be punished for raising such a piece of shit and he should get the lethal injection... to be served by none other than a marine... or Martinez's parents.

and to think that he was arrested on a charge NOT EVEN RELATED TO THE MURDER OF A HERO. Thats justice right there for you! Id be damned if Id fight for freedom when clearly, no one is fighting for him.
