That's the last you want to do move to addison! DO NOT MOVE THERE!!im telling you because ive lived there for a couple of yrs and let me tel you that town has turned upside down.Lots of hispanic gangs,drugs,of course shootings and killings.Really not a safe n.hood might i suggest bloomingdale.Wonderful areas,nice neighbors,loving homes and apartments,and of course less gangs.Wheaton is another good town.I have family and friends in both towns.no complaints.The cops are great over here.if you cannot afford then addison is your town.Its dirt poor,lots of low-income families,and many undercover police day and night.You choose there are many good towns then addison -COME ON BE SMART!!!My good old friend saw his own friend get gunned down and he was a good citizen.Gangmembers shot at the wrong da** person.Please dont move to Addison....

Yes there's mexican gangs but they're everywhere. I've lived there my whole life and I've been fine. My family's italian, and we've never been harassed. You just want to stay away from the areas off of Lake Street between Mill and Addison Rd to the North. That's where it's bad.
