"Outreach" = more tax dollars consumed by illegal aliens provided by the middle class.

The downward spiral continues.....

Immigration laws are in place to prevent overcrowding! We can't absorb this many poor, uneducated, and unskilled people and their enormous families. This is the cold, harsh truth.

This is why the quality of life dramatically decreases in the suburbs where illegal aliens flock.

Thank you, DKS. Very eleoquent!

Until people learn to carry their equal share, they need to live in the abject poverty they are used. They need to first improve their lives, and not expect the middle class to do it for them. We have our own have hurdles with rising taxes/utilities!

I didn't see anything in the article about illegal immigrants. Not all Mexicans are illegal immigrants.

help me to understand this, if your here illegally, why do the rights of an American citizen? I se no reason to explain laws to people whi know they have broken them just coming here illegally in the first place, when will the politicians decide to take care of the American citizen as a priority first

quote:
But Latino immigrants are three times more likely to live in overcrowded homes than U.S.-born residents, the report noted. That is a big source of tension in many communities, where residents complain that overcrowding leads to shabby properties and a decline in home values.

Some mayors said they walk a fine political line between enforcing housing codes and avoiding the perception that they focus unfairly on immigrants"
close quote:

What is the problem here? If a number of criminals are bank robbers does that mean that you do not enforce the rules/laws reguarding bank robbers? No it does not. Who cares if they are Latino, green, black, white? When they break the laws/codes they should be treated exactly like everyone else.

Mass REFUSAL TO OBEY LAWS AND REGULATIONS DOES NOT QUALIFY THEM FOR AN EXCEMPTION TO THE SAME REGUALTIONS/LAWS OTHERS LIVE BY.

Get rid of that silly man. He is costing every hard working man and woman who obey the rules and invest there the cost of their homes. He is a disgrace!

ok big boy, big ed here and people do not need to live in abject poverty as you say. You are wrong there my man. They are trying to get out of that "poverty" and they have "hurdles" just as you, may not be the same category, but it is still a hurdle. The RESPECT of human kind has been lost.Everyone is trying to have a slot in the US and make it their home. If you work at it and make it here Legally, then why not? Now, that's eloquent!
Let it rest and enjoy your LIFE!

If these people are here illegally, I think instead of helping people who are breaking the law, why don't you help seniors who are barely making ends meet. Some do not eat properly because they can't afford the food prices, some don't take their medication because they can't afford it. Some like myself who cannot afford to retire. I can barely make ends meet with my salary. Everything goes up except my income. My property taxes went up about 13%. My phone bill, electric, gas and water all went up. I have insurance and perscription coverage, but this year I have to meet a 1200.00 deductible, last year it was 400.00 and I could barely make that. This is the only insurance choice I have with my company. So I will not be able to afford my meds or even to go to the doctor. So help the people here who need help not the illegals.

Are there going to be any Latino's south of the border in 20 years? Sounds like they are all coming to this country. Oh by the way they are illegals not immigrants. I can't wait for the next 20 years to go by, this countries population will be 500million. It will be one hell of a mess.

Please know what I can do I am doing. Just this morning I spent hours researching the links to the so called report that is mentioned in the article. The article continually tries to place the so called "Immigrants" which can easily be their code word for Illegal alien, they try to put them in a needy sympathetic light. What crap. These people refuse to learn English and in every case in the article they are rewarded by the study with teachers from Mexico, Spain... ad nauseam. They pile too many into homes ruining the property value... of hard working American's of all cultures. Solution proposed in this so called article... "The community already stretched is now to Build Them NEW LOW INCOME HOUSING" BULL!!! Stop the madness. You do not reward Group Bad behavior with New Homes.. at tax payer expense. Enforce current laws. PERIOD. These good communities owe these people anything. Their children and adults Must learn English. They are costing this Nation dearly. Our elderly must get their needs met, and every penny that goes to an illegal alien is one penny too many!

The article does not mention whether these are illegal immigrants, yet you are generalizing here. Before you make an extention like that, make sure you read and understand the article, otherwise you are a RACIST.

Why is American full of ignorant people. Captain, how do you know they are illegals? Did you confirm it? Did you think that maybe they could be legal immigrants, or did you make the same mistake that only ignorants make, that is to mistake the word Latino for Illegal? The article makes not mention of these being illegal. Please understand what you read before you manifest a degree of ignorance to the public.
