So when will they start construction? Wasn't it suppose to be started this past yr? A dialysis unit in Lewis County would be a great thing.
But knowing Lewis County, will it ever be a reality?

Why is the hospital getting the grant for dialysis to build a whole seperate building when they are running in the red? There are other buildings in Lowville that could be purchased or rented such as St. Peter's or the space in the plaza. There are many people in this community that could use this service now that have to travel to Utica/ Watertown/ or Syracuse three times a week.

$300,000 isnt gunna do squat. They're not going to purchase land, construct a building and purchase equipment for dialysis with $300,000. They'd be lucky to get the land and building put up with that money, so wheres the equipment coming from?

The doctors available up there aren't going to be able to treat patients that have illnesses related to the dialysis, if you go to the ER up there with anything more severe than a muscle strain or cat scratch they bandage you up and send you elsewhere for treatment. They used to have good ER docs, I guess I can't put all the blame on the drs, they are not equipped to deal with trauma of any kind so how could anyone really judge the drs abilities accurately? I guess I can't and unfairly did so.
