Four charged with DWI in separate incidents in region
The following were charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses: Scott A. Summers, 43, of 14335 Route 11, Adams, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies with aggravated DWI about 9 p.m. Monday on Route 11 in the town of Adams.

First offense - loss of license 1 year , 5,000 fine , breath o meter in car for year 2 . This is for those with a .10 or less reading . If over .10 madatory six month jail sentence and the above when released .
Second offense - one year prison time ,lose license for five years , 10,000 fine , breath o meter in car for five years .
Third offense- ten years prison , never drive again
Fourth offense - twenty years prison
Mandatory sentences so the system can't screw it up .
