I bet the horse and the horse owner have been there longer than any of the council members who threw him out. Shame on you!

Shame on all of you for what you have done to that horse. That horse has been in that pasture longer than most of you have been born. You should be ashamed of yourselves. He is 32 years old, he's not gonna live a whole lot longer. Be the bigger person, let the horse come home where he belongs, and leave him alone. Some people sure do let power go to their heads. If a resident complained about the horse being there, the city should have been big enough to tell them, THE HORSE WAS HERE LONG BEFORE YOU, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, MOVE!!!!!!! It takes a big person to stand up for something he believes in, the city council should take note on that. You don't do yourselves or the community any good when you bow to the wishes of one or two people.

I'll be sure to forward this story to a dear friend of mine who is on the Kentucky Derby Committee Board- in other words, if you're on the town council in Hickman nebraska, don't even THINK of visiting our State- horse haters are not welcomed.

Remember the horse you (the council members) threw out of town. When you all grow old and get shipped off to greener pastures, I should hope you all feel like a horses butt!
