Not much about them on the BLOG lately. Anyone know (or want to know what is going on with them??) Well it appears they have "shut down" their rescue.. BUT in fact they have dumped off their horses at so called "foster" homes and are still taking money from people to support these horses that they don‘t even have.

These horses were dumped off needing veterinary care, hoof care and badly in need of food. I know this for a fact. I was driving down the road and saw a sign that said "free rescue horses" I spoke to the people who had the horses and came home and did a lot of research... this is what happened.

The horses were dumped off at these nice people's house, these people are nice, but not really knowledgeable about horse care, or horses for that fact. They had a pasture but the “foster” horses need more then just pasture, but the people at HHR didn’t provide any hay, grain or any money to care for these horses, I believe that there were at least 8 horses dumped off at these people’s place. These people don’t have the $$ or the basic resources to care for their horses let alone 8 MORE!!! The people from HHR said they would be back after they relocated in 2 weeks to pick up the horses.. Weeks and weeks and them months and months went by… they people heard nothing from HHR.. Then they finally got a hold of them and were told they could get rid of or keep certain horses that were left there BUT that they would be back to get a select few back.. Of course the few that they wanted back, were the ones that weren’t starving, crippled or sick… INTERESTING isn’t it. As far as I know the horses are still there, and those people still don’t have any $$ from HHR for caring for them the last few MONTHS!!

I wonder how many other people had horses from HHR dumped off at their place???

HHR you are just BAD NEWS ALL AROUND you shouldn’t be allowed to own horses of your own let alone try to “rescue” anyone else’s horses…. You should be ashamed.
