What is wrong with you? We are talking about sick kids! You are not obligated to give anything, but don't you have any heart?! I have relatives who lost power in the NY/NJ area from Hurricane Sandy, I sent money and I didn't care about what left my pockets. My concern were them and their safety. They are ok, they just lost power, but YOU fella could be on the receiving end one day. I told you to stop taking things for granted because you could lose what you have. Like that cabin of your in Farmington! Go put some folks up in it and stop being cold-hearted. Scrooge.

My name is Steven for the last time! Ok, I reread it. I thought you were being sarcastic from the get go, that's why I posted what I posted. I was going to apolozige, but since you went on the personal attack, you get none from me.

My heart is broken knowing that you won't apolozige. Maybe next time you will read what someone posted before you go off half cocked and rant like a loon Steve.

Maybe next time you think before you post ignorant generalizations like you always do here.

Anyway, I am surprised you are for helping sick kids and telling people to open up their wallets Pigpen. As stingy as you are, that really says a lot about you, unless you're doing this for your own benefit.

Think what you want Steve but I donate more time and money than most people do on Topix.I am lucky enough to have the extra time and money to it. Maybe I'm nuts but it makes me feel better for doing it.I just don't like giving my money to stupid programs I stated before on this thread.Just saying.

Good job Pigpen, making donations and volunteering are actually a great thing to do. The kids won't forget your help and you will put a smile on their face.

Great post BTW.

Ok, it's good you are donating money and have extra time to do it. But I thought you were one of the main ones who hates "freebies" or one that i s on the receiving end. Who are you donating money to? Do you give and turn around and call these organizations or people "freebies?" behind their backs?

It's ok if pigpen does it, but if I donate, I am a liberal do gooder, right?

If you donate to a good cause then good for you, but donations are far from freebies. I never called you a liberal do gooder, never said any such thing, so please don't put words in my mouth. Freebies are given to the entitled ones who think because they can sit on their fat behinds and collect off the government when they are able to work but choose not.

Freebies don't equal donations.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Gemini

Today's Full Moon, a Lunar Eclipse, will have a big impact on your relationships during the next few months, so stand by. If the cracks have been starting to show in a partnership, this could be when they turn into major fault lines that demand action. Can they be repaired or do they spell the end of the line? It may feel like a crisis but that doesn't mean it really is one, so don't over-react.
