Gun control, Hitting what you aim at!! Just waiting for mom now on the news saying what a good kid he was and society did him wrong.
Maybe the Eye glass frame guys or the Blue jean bandits will be next and pick the wrong place.

Dang it, too bad he missed the other two. It's only when home owners defend themselves that the word gets out to little freaks like that to stay away. You want money and WORK for what you get - get a job!

Good, we need more of that, instant punishment for crimes in progress.
I remember when I first moved to Atlanta if you robbed a convience store you had the chance of a cop shooting you from the cooler.
Robberies kind of dried up back then.

I am absolutely delighted, this little scum bag is off the streets forever, it deserved all it got.
Even better still it will have to be a closed casket as the homeowner took of its face. So no open show.
The more people that take out these subhuman thiefs in this way the better.

Yes, and the APD "stakeout" program was ABOLISHED after complaints from the "usual suspects" after so many thugs were wasted by cops. My dad's store was a stakeout site. Good shootin' from the victim in this case however...maybe he will bag the whole crew next time.

Reap what you sow, scum bag,sub-human,trash person, dirt nap. Every word will some day apply to evert person who said them. Celebrating death for sin. While daring to be a sinner yourselves. EVery homeowner has the right and esponsibility to protect himself and his home. And entering an occupied dwelling is the best way to get killed. But being happy about a very evil outcome worrying about tax money. How pathetic this forum has become

This is one teen that will not have a life of crime.
What a waste of a young life but the homeowner had to do what he did.
How many times is he expected to accept being broken into?

I have no problem with what the homeowner did. You have every right to defend yourself and your home. However, I saddened to see so many callous responses. As a human being, a Christian, and a patriotic American I will not revel in death. That kid still had loved ones who are suffering. If those of us who consider ourselves good and decent would serve our communities and help youth maybe this type of thing would not happen as much.

You stated, "As a human being, a Christian, and a patriotic American I will not revel in death." Then you went on to say he had loved ones who are suffering. This is all emotional garbage. When the kid was born, he probably had a single teen mother who had no clue about parenting and probably is on drugs now. There is a good chance he had no parenting and was becoming a criminal because he had no direction in his life. There is a good chance that he would have preyed on society for years and spent many years in prison at the government's expense. He was killed in self-defense. You have a right to your emotional garbage but I do want you to know that I think it is garbage. This was one kid we do not need around.
