If you passed the 40 training you should get a call right away with a preliminary job offer. Then take physical,drug test. Background check. I know people that started 2 weeks after that. I think I was delayed because of problems with my Technical College transcripts. GOOD LUCK.
P.S. If you did not pass the 40 hrs. I think they just don't call you back.

Mike, I am just guessing at this time, but I think John and I will make it in the first 650 and I believe they are looking for around 1400 to get the first shift going. I will try to keep you updated.

yeah mike we'll keep you posted. how far have you gotten? to give you a sense of where they are. they are hiring from the july 08 group now it seems to me because myself, a coworker of mine and i think gary were in that july 08 classroom training and we all got the call round the same time. in other words have you completed all the processes and if so what was the date so i can give you an idea beacuse they are hiring really strong the months of april, may and maybe june, but i know april/may.

I submiited my application in Jan 2008 for a miantenance technician.I was looked at briefly for a salary position.But since that nothing.I am surprizeed that I haven't heard anything yet.What do you think?

pay very close attention to the directions when you get on the assembly floor. its very important.

Hourly workers that applied in Jan. 08 are still getting called. They still have salaried jobs posted on their Web Site.

[Safety Concerned]

I'm not sure I'd want to work there.
The contractors hire illegal and untrained workers to do highly technical and skilled work.
Heck, the whole place might fall in! Many, many serious accidents have occured that have not been in the papers and 1 fatility, due to lack of concern for safety, improper equipment, lack of training, etc. If they have this little concern with their own safety while working, or the safety of others, I wonder about the quality and safety of the buildings.
All because our 'new neighbors' as some call them are so money hungry and have total disregard for others. They think they are above our rules and turn a blind eye to anything that does not produce them $$$$$$$$.
I'm concerned too, that some of the local agencies, even up to the state level are turning a blind eye to some of the events. Could it be because they were paid off, or are they afraid to 'offend' our new neighbors'?
