we are seeing more and more earthquakes here in the state of Oklahoma... I wonder if that means a big one is coming?

I think the big one will be in an area that is not "built" to handle earth quakes and that is why it will seem like the big one.

I agree with you Ox Man. Yeah, it was storming last night, and then all of a sudden it sounded like a sumo wrestler fell against a few walls. That's what I thought it was seeing as it was thundering and all. But I get a text message "Hey, did you feel that earthquake?"
Maybe it's a sign of impending doom? Just kidding.

The small town of Jones is NE of OKC and to the SW of Edmond.

I have felt an occasional earthquake here in Tulsa. There is a place near Leonard, on US 64 between Tulsa and Muskogee that measures seismic activity in Oklahoma. One time when I was living over in the historical community of West Tulsa, I felt the building shake and I knew it was a minor earthquake. That evening on one of the local TV news a reporter for them just happened to be at the Leonard location working on a story about the place. The reporter mentioned the earthquake which was local.

There weren't any of them major locally when I lived in North Hollywood, one of the LA communities in the San Fernando Valley. But, there still occasional shaking when I lived out there between March '84 to January '92.

But, my friends who lived in Studio City, next to North Hollywood, had to call me and tell me about all of the whole lotta shaking goin' on after the 1994 Northridge (CA) earthquake.

Sign for what?

All an earthquake is a sign of is that the earth's crust is in constant state of movement.

I guess what it is a sign of. Read the Bible and you will read that in the end time we will about rumors of war... earthquakes... I won't ruin it for ya... rea it for yourself.

I probably have read the whole Bible through more times than you have. I knew what Jesus said about wars, rumors of war and earthquakes.

Were you a graduate theology student at an accredited Christian university for 5 semesters like myself?

My response was to the hypocrites that bring up the Bible in discussion and yet use very vulgar words when they disagree with someone.

While I didn't finish the degree program, as far as number of courses and credit hours on the official transcript is concerned, I have the equivalent of a Master of Arts in Theological and Historical Studies. And I have 22 undergrad hours (same as a minor) in the Bible, too.
