Ok if I'm reading and hearing this correct, THEY are the ones that actually did the crime. THEY are the ones that walked in the bank and handed the note. THEY are the ones that were on camera shopping and enjoying what THEY stole. So why did THEY get such a low sentence?

I agree justice wasn't fair. They should all have to serve equal time.

I hate that I have to agree with No-Justice. How come this couple of girls got that sentece. They went and commited a crime for God sake. They went willingly, nobody force them or trick them. This is wrong, sick and wrong.

I agree that the Barbie bandits should have gotten stronger sentences. However, the Barbie Bandits pled guilty and expressed remorse from the very beginning. The others involved did not and chose to go to trial.

These were two precious girls who had their minds held hostage by this mean and viscious black guy who held their minds captive while they went into the bank and robbed it. Then they went on shopping sprees to spend the money but their minds were still being held by the mean black guy who ordered them the shop. So that is why they get nothing while he gets put in jail where he is supposed to be anyway.(sarcastically speaking)
You had me wondering at first........

Yes, and the "mastermind" was on probation and the teller was arrested for drug trafficing and had also stolen from the bank before.

This played a part in the sentancing.

Sorry folks, but I don't think race had anything to do with it. It was more about having no prior arrests. These other two had long criminal histories. They had none.

Nichols is will be tried separately. What does he have to do with this case?

Because they were not charged with "bank robbery" because it was a set up crime by the teller and the "mastermind".

Still, I'd have like to see them do more time like 5 years each for this stupid fake robbery.

I agree they didn't get what they deserved, BUT do you have to throw the race card in here?? Why does someone always have to do that? Makes me angry. I don't care what color/race you are, if you do a crime they need to pay for it.

Is it me or does this seem racially bias? The women who actualy went into the bank demaning money or they would blow the teller away only get 2 years in prison? The men who think up the idea and are black but were nowhere near the bank get 10 and 25 years respectively?? And they say we've moved beyond race in this country...YEAH RIGHT!
Wow your serious too

Agreed. If they have got more time then I could handle the 25 years better.

The master mind gets 25 years for coming up with the robbery plan, but the gun toting executors of the plan gets little to no time. Where is the justice in this? This judge should be ashamed!

I don't care if they had criminal records before and these barbie girls did not. They all participated in this crime; they all should do the same time. Another case of unequal justice. This is why the justice system must be changed.

Good thing I read all the way to the end. That's right, and as ridiculous as that sound, that is what the media would have us to believe is truth. Has all the world gone MAD???
